Wahnsinnig schönes und ruhiges cottage, ein Schmuckstück! Die Ruhe genießen wenn man auf der Terrasse im Hot Tub liegt ist großartig. Wir konnten sogar die Nordlichter sehen. Ein Trip den wir nicht vergessen werden, vielen Dank!

Georg was very quick to respond to questions. He gave very clear, helpful directions as it isn’t easy to find. House was clean, view from the large living room window was lovely.

Es war der schönste Urlaub den wir jemals hatten! Annas Unterkunft war einfach großartig und wir haben uns direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt. Wir haben sogar mehrfach Polarlichter gesehen 😍 Danke für alles Anna.

We had an excellent stay at The Mountain Villa in early February. Hafþór and Björn were gracious hosts, responding to queries quickly and providing clear instructions to find and access the place. The villa itself was as charming and idillic as we had expected, everything was perfectly clean and tidy on arrival and the facilities were fantastic; we particularly enjoyed the sauna and cold plunge after long days exploring. Flúðir was a quiet little village but perfect for what we wanted, with enough options to eat and drink for the short time we were there, and easily walkable from the villa. The hospitality at Restaurant Minilik was particularly excellent, and the Secret Lagoon is definitely worth a visit too! The Mountain Villa was a perfect hub to explore the region, with lots of sights and walks within a 30 minute drive, and a good place to travel further into the South from. Overall, a perfect stay and we hope to visit again in the future! Thank you Hafþór and Björn!

We had a nice time, it was a lovely place. Comfortable and clean with beautiful surroundings. Easy check in and out and good communication with the host. The only negative thing was the bubbles not working in the hot tub, and a few light bulbs not working, otherwise it was excellent! Would definitely recommend.

Een ontzettend ruim, warm en gezellig huis. Hottub was ook fantastisch. Alles was aanwezig, bij vragen kregen we snel een reactie. Vlak bij het huisje kun je heerlijk eenvoudig eten. Doordat de sleutel bij de receptie te halen is, kun je flexibel zijn met je tijd. Top plek alle golden cirkel activiteiten heel dichtbij.

Our stay was wonderful! Property was very clean, very well stocked, and instructions were detailed and easy to follow. Hosts were responsive and easy to contact. Location was absolutely beautiful and the hot tub worked fantastic! Highly recommend this home!!!

This is the perfect place to seek calmness and nature. Very friendly hosts, a well equipped guest house and a stunning view. You even see the glaciers and river, mountains, much of green and geese and other birds on the meadows. And of course the lovely horses :) Plus, Golden Circle is just around the corner. We stayed for a week and it was a perfect escape to calm down and enjoy nature.
