Lovely pod that is very close to Portree while also being clean and comfortable. Anne was very friendly and responsive, with a big focus on cleanliness. A great place to stay!

Perfect place for two nights of peace. Loved the view, pod and fireplace and everything just as described. Great walking up the glen and village close enough to ride to the pub!

Enjoyed two nights here and it was perfect! Heating was very efficient, made the hut so cosy and they even had fairy lights. Would recommend

Sur notre road trip, une halte dans un logement atypique offrant une magnifique vue avec coucher du soleil. Le pod est propre et adapté pour un couple. Nous avons mangé dans la salle commune spacieuse et très fonctionnelle avec tout à disposition. Une belle expérience pour nous. Nous recommandons vivement pour les aventuriers des routes.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! It was absolutely immaculate and felt very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower pressure is fantastic (the important things!!), making it the perfect stopover to relax and recharge. Lochcarron is stunning, with gorgeous views that made the stay even more special. Emma and Andrew were amazing—very friendly, communicative and thoughtful throughout. Highly recommend and would love to return on our next Scottish adventure!

I’ve finally had the opportunity to live out my dream and stay in a tiny home and it did not disappoint! Norman and Jillian’s place was beautiful, with just the right amount of space we needed. The entrance was clearly marked from the side of the road which made it easy to find. Checkin was seamless with a lockbox key system. The shower water was hot right away, the bed and linen comfortable, and the outdoor seating area/fire-pit was a fun way to spend our night relaxing after all day hiking. Norman came by to chat with us for a little and he was so kind and personable. He gave us local recommendations and tips that were very helpful with our travels. We even had a family of hedgehogs join us for our bonfire! We wish we stayed more than one night here because it was such a nice space.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Man konnte direkt an der Unterkunft parken. Das nötigste um etwas zu kochen ist ebenfalls vorhanden.

We had a lovely stay here. The access to the accommodation was great as there was ramped access. I am a wheelchair user and found the accommodation easy to get in to and move around in once inside. It is, as the description states, a small place (though perfect for the two of us) and I found it easy enough to move around in. I’m a relatively independent wheelchair user and can stand up and move around a little. It may not be quite as easy to move around for someone with more limited mobility/a power chair user. The accommodation is beautifully decorated, very clean and extremely comfortable. Alison had provided lots of lovely little extras, such as ear plugs in each of the bedside drawer units, and these well thought of extras really made all the difference. Alison and her husband are very friendly and strike the perfect balance of being on hand if needed and yet giving guests space to relax and have privacy. We highly recommend staying here and we will definitely look to return.

Great cabin to stop on for the NC500 driving route. Peaceful and had all you need for a stop over! Beautiful garden by the river and a really friendly, helpful host.

Amazing - Sally’s location is in the middle of nowhere and such a silent retreat, a morning stroll gets you to the loch, greeted by lambs and streams, waterfalls and little quaint cottages Sally is also an amazing communicator - she made it really easy for us :)

Lovely stay and cabin was spotless. We had our baby with us and Stuart provided us with a nappy bin. Nice little garden to the cabin and beautiful view.

Lovely little shepherds hut, very cosy and had everything you need. It’s incredible how they managed to fit everything in that small space. Since the hosts are just next door, there are some tasty eggs for sale which you can see where they’re from right from the garden area. It’s a very big garden space with a little balcony to eat and drink outside in. You don’t get much time for a shower but that was fine for myself and my partner, however that might not suit everyone. The only thing I’d recommend that may be helpful for the next guests is to have an extra tea towel on hand. There isn’t anywhere to air dry plates and cups so you have to hand dry them by hand straight away and the towel doesn’t always dry in time for when you next need to use it. Other than that great stay, thank you for having us.

We had an amazing stay at Ann’s pod. It is in a great location with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed for 3 nights, one night we walked into Mallaig for dinner and the other two we used the facilities in the pod to cook including the barbecue on the balcony. The view from the balcony is amazing and the hot tub is great to relax in. The pod is well located and is in walkable distance to a lovely beach. Would highly recommend a stay here.

This was a last minute decision, and one of the best made. The cabin was just beautiful, peaceful , quiet it was surprisingly spacious and great attention had been made by its owners to quality products. From beautiful fluffy towels, quality bed linen, to fancy hand soaps shampoo, conditioner body wash. A wonderful power shower. There was a well equipped kitchen area, all instruments for the cooker etc were also available . Sheila came and explained everything clearly , and advised on where to visit and eat etc . There were more shops bistro, cafe etc than what I had imagined and the area had a lovely vibe . The cabin is in a really lovely location and a real retreat for sure. Large garden and beautiful patio area looking onto the loch, and at the back of the cabin is a large garden area, with seating, dining area. I think it would be difficult to dislike this place and as for me I look forward to visiting again soon.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce pod. Arrivée flexible et très bonne communication avec Beth. Un petit endroit au calme pour débuter notre virée en Ecosse. Nous avons pu rester stationné pour aller voir le passage du train sur le Viaduc le lendemain. Merci Beth !

I loved every minute of my stay at An T-Iasgair Pod. From the cup of coffee in the morning with an ocean view and sheep in front of the window to meeting a wee little lamb to getting to know the history of the croft. Sandra and Kenneth are extremely nice and welcoming people and I felt very well taken care of. It’s beautiful to see their love for their land and sheep. I’m hoping to come back soon :)

Wir waren 4 Tage bzw. 3 Nächte in dem Tiny House untergebracht und sind vollends begeistert! Die Aussicht ist mega, es ist ruhig aber man kommt auch schnell zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Isle of Skye. (eigener Parkplatz ist vorhanden) Das Haus war sehr sauber und gepflegt, wir wurden mit einem Willkommenskörbchen begrüßt. Grillkohle und Feuerholz haben wir direkt bei Vitctoria gekauft und gegrillt und die Feuerschale vor Ort genutzt. Wenn man doch mal was benötigt, gibt es weiter unten im Dorf einen kleinen Laden. Das kleine Häuschen bietet alles was man braucht und ist sehr gemütlich. Die Fußbodenheizung war ein Highlight! Victoria ist sehr nett und eine tolle Gastgeberin. Sie reagiert schnell auf Nachrichten und gibt im Vorfeld klare Anweisungen zur An- und Abreise und zum Häuschen an sich. Das erleichtert einem den Aufenthalt sehr! Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft sehr und würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen! :)

Das Tiny Hous ist wirklich traumhaft! Gepflegt, ruhig und man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause! Tagesausflüge wie zum Inverwe Garden oder Loch Maree waren wunderschön. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Skye ist eine sehr schöne Insel und die Unterkunft ist so gelegen, dass gegen Abend nur ganz wenige Personen vorbeifahren :) die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gemütlich.

Sehr schöne und gemütliche Unterkunft auf der Isle of Skye, die eher klein aber aussergewöhnlich ist. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Kommunikation mit Claire war sehr gut. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist ziemlich zentral auf der Insel gelegen und somit ideal, um die ganze Insel (mit Auto) zu erkunden.

My wife and I had a great time at the Soren cabin. The cabin is nice and modern inside with a small but functional kitchen. It is near Ft. William’s and has a view of Ben Nevis (if not covered in clouds). There are things you can walk to and it is fairly easy to get to restaurants and a supermarket. Everything was as described and it is in a good location if you want to do some hikes in the area. We had a great stay.

Dean and Mum thankyou for letting us stay in your beautiful pod. It was stunning and the area is outstanding. Very friendly hosts. We visited Sanna Bay twice Arnamuechan point and lighthouse and Tobermory by ferry. We were blessed with the weather. Also visited Kilchoan hotel for food and drinks and can def recommend. We cant wait to visit again. Thankyou x
