Cae Adda cottage is cosy and warm

Our cottage has a wood burning stove, which keeps you cosy on winter evenings. Situated right by Trawsfynydd lake, with amazing views. If peace and tranquility is what you are looking for then this is the perfect spot for you. Sorry no pets. And no swimming or inflatables allowed on Trawsfynydd lake as it’s primarily a fishing lake. Great cycle and footpath round the lake for any one wanting to get out. We are situated inside the snowdonia national park so plenty of places to visit close by.

Our handcrafted shepherds hut is set in its own idyllic secluded spot along the Mawddach estuary opposite the Cader Idris mountain range offering total peace and tranquillity. It has an open plan living space with a lovely cosy double bed a well equipped kitchen, table and chairs plus an en suite shower room. Outside there is a sitting area with a fire-pit/BBQ and steps which lead down to your own path onto the estuary foreshore from where you are welcome to explore our many acres of land.

It's near beautiful woodland walks, castles, world famous bike tracks, zip wires, the 'Bounce Below' trampolining adventure, steam trains, award winning ice-cream and fabulous beaches. With stunning views of Llyn Celyn, this glamping pod comes with everything you need for a relaxing or adventurous break. Located in Eryri National Park there are endless trails that can be explored or if it’s a relaxing break you need, drink in the views from the hot tub in this peaceful area of North Wales. It was built for end of 2023. There are 2 pods on site which are almost identical so if this one isn’t available on your date, check Celyn Pod.
