A peaceful hideaway by the water. We had a truly wonderful extended weekend at Daniel’s house in Sweden. The place is exactly what we were hoping for - beautiful, peaceful, and with a stunning location right by the water. The house itself is stylish, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and we instantly felt at home. Every detail in the house reflects care and thoughtfulness - it’s clear this is a place made for guests to feel at ease. Daniel was a fantastic host – warm, responsive and helpful throughout. Communication was smooth and kind from beginning to end, which made everything feel effortless. One small note for future guests: the pier shown in some of the pictures is no longer there. It didn’t take anything away from the experience, but it’s good to know in advance. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

Helt underbar ställe, brukar inte lämna recention men här är det värt det, När vi kom fram så var vi tagna över hur lugnt och fint det var, när vi öppnade dörren var vi alla kära i stället det var så fint så fin inred bra ordning och allt man kan kunna tänka sig behöva, varje en av oss älskade huset och det kändes som en liten paradis, sängerna var super bekvämma att sova i, så bekvämma att det var svårt att ta sig upp! Matbordet i kölet är en dröm vi åt frukost på morgonen och hade den finaste utsikten till sjön tack vare den stora fönstret, dom svarade alltid så snabbt om man hade en fråga och var alltid vänliga, allt var en plus stället ännu mer magiskt än bilderna visar, det är så mycket fönster och ljuset kommer in så fint, om du tittar på stället och fubderar på att komma sluta fundera bara kom du kommer inte att ångra dig :) det var lugnt fint avslappnande och absolut det vackraste vi sett på länge! Tack för att vi fick komma :)

We Stayed for the second Time and Had a Great Time with the Whole Family. A Perfect Place.

We spend 2 nights at Björns house. The house looked brand new, was immaculately clean and comfortable (especially the kitchen was very well equiped). Beds comfi. Did not use the annex, looked a little older. Lake was a very nice hangout place, we enjoyed ourselves with the house canoo and out own SUPboard. Very nice house to spend some time with your family!

Kompakt men väldigt fin, modern och funktionell stuga. Bra omgivningar för promenader för hund. Lugn fin skogsmiljö.

Notre séjour dans la maison de Karin a été parfait à tous égards. Avant notre arrivée, elle s'est montrée très réactive et disponible pour répondre à nos questions. Son accueil a été parfait, agrémenté de petits pains fait maison délicieux. La maison est très jolie, bien équipée, pleine de charme : on y passe un très bon séjour, au calme. Elle est parfaite pour un couple avec des enfants en bas âge notamment car elle située dans un très beau jardin et des jeux sont à disposition. L'environnement direct est très paisible et il est possible de faire de très belles balades à pied depuis la maison. Je recommande très chaleureusement cette hôte comme la maison, qui est à son image. Il est possible de rejoindre le centre de Stockholm en transports en commun si vous n'êtes pas véhiculé. Nous n'oublierons pas notre séjour là bas!

nous avons passé un très bon séjour au calme dans un environnement forestier à proximité d'un lac. la maison était très propre. l'accueil à notre arrivée a été très chaleureux. nous recommandons ce logement pour passer un agréable moment en Suède.

Vi hade en otroligt mysig helg i Maria och Dessis hus. Huset var större än förväntat med flera trevliga ställen att hänga på, stort bord i köket med kamin och både soffor och fåtöljer i vardagsrummet som också hade kamin och en fin utsikt. Nära vatten och natur. Eftersom vädret var trist när vi var där stannade vi mest inomhus och där fanns både pussel och spel att låna. Köket var ordentligt utrustat. Vi älskar matlagning och brukar alltid ta med egna köksverktyg då vi brukar tycka det finns saker som saknas men här fanns verkligen allt man kunde önska sig! Vi njöt av en mysig helg och kan varmt rekommendera detta boende. Plus för väldigt skön säng och bra kommunikation med värden!

Siri svarade snabbt och bra. Boendet var en jättemysig gäststuga med mycket sköna sängar. Välstädat och fräscht men en härlig gammal radio som sällskap. Jag rekommenderar varmt detta boende på alla sätt. Gångavstånd till Trosa hamn (15min) Vi kommer garanterat tillbaka // Stefan

The house is beautiful with a lovely heated pool, so much space to relax as a group of adults and families, for the children to play too. There were even toys for the children to play with which was a lovely surprise. The house was decorated to a high standard and was a joy to be in. Sandrella was there for anything we needed, so friendly, helpful and warm and went out of the way to help us with any questions we had about the area and the house. The kitchen is amazing well equipped, all the space was brilliant for a family group of 10, with dining seating both outdoors by the pool and indoors. It’s was only 50 minutes from Arlanda airport and less than 40 minutes to Stockholm. Also easy access to drive to the Archipelago’s so a good base if you hire a car. Would highly recommend, thank you for a wonderful stay Sandrella.

Thoroughly recommend. Beautiful open plan, contemporary house but also very welcoming and well equipped. Fantastic outside space that’s versatile and comfortable. We had weather that ranged from heavy thunderstorm to beautiful blue skies and the outside space worked well for both. Multiple open decking areas, pool and outdoor kitchen for the sunny days but also covered area, outdoor fireplaces cosy blankets and hot tub mean you can be outside in all weather. Views are better than photos suggest. Treetop horizon/sunset views from front and the open woodlands behind. Garden is open directly onto the woods - which is full of handmade dens and rope swings. We were visited most evenings by a full family of deer. Nero family were very responsive to all queries - great hosts.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Hütte. Man hat durch die vielen Fenster den ganzen Tag Sonne und ab und zu kommen auch mal ein paar Rehe vorbei. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen :)

Quel extraordinaire chalet! Nous nous y sommes sentis comme à la maison. Celle ci est décorée avec goût, il y a tout ce dont nous avions besoin. La vue est splendide et l’endroit très paisible. Stockholm se trouve à 3/4 d’heure de route. Nous avons adoré la petite plage à 5 mn à pied de la maison, où on accède à une balade fort agréable en forêt. Nos enfants de 4 et 8 ans ont aimé jouer à la balançoire située au niveau de cette plage.

Ruth und Robbert sind außerordentlich freundlicheund gute Gastgeber. Sehr zuvorkommend und darum bemüht, einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Deutliche Empfehlung!

Wir waren 4 Tage in Johan's Cabin. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und uns wurde alles gezeigt. Es hat alles was man für eine gemütliche Auszeit braucht. Johan war für uns immer da wenn wir was brauchten. Er gab uns Tipps für eine super Badestelle. Die Aussicht aus dem Garten auf das Meer ist einfach wunderschön. Zudem hat uns Simba (die kleine Katze von Johan's Familie) den Aufenthalt noch versüsst. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. :)

Our family of 3 had a wonderful week. The house is quiet, spacious, and beautiful. Lake Mälaren was just a couple of minutes walk from the door. Our 9 year-old enjoyed the trampoline in the back garden, braving a swim from the private jetty, and regularly seeing deer and horses nearby. We also enjoyed the guitar, because we could play it outside with nobody close enough to be annoyed by it! For somewhere that feels remote, it was easy to drive to Stockholm (1 hour). There’s an old steamboat that picks up from another jetty less than 10 minutes walk from the house, which took us to the pretty town of Mariefred. We also had an afternoon in a canoe on another lake, about 40 mins away, which we’d highly recommend. (Search 'kanotkungen sedan 1975'.) Jennifer was the perfect host — generous and excellent at communication. She met us on arrival, showed us around the house, and shared lots of great tips for places to visit, things to do, and where to get great cakes and food.

We had a wonderful 14 days in Kornelia's summer cottage. The location and the view of the lake are particularly outstanding. For our children it was like a little adventure where they could discover the beautiful nature of the island freely and safely. On top of that, the accommodation was very well equipped and clean, and Kornelia and Johann and the entire island community were very welcoming. I recommend the accommodation to anyone who wants to spend a wonderful, varied and relaxing time in a great environment.

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal in dieser wunderbaren Unterkunft und hatten wieder das Gefühl von „nach Hause kommen“. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Sauberkeit, Ausstattung und eine großartige Gastgeberin. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder🙂 .

Die Lage des Häuschens ist traumhaft, die Treppe die zur Unterkunft führt ist bereits ein Erlebnis! Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Torgny hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt und erklärt. Mit dem Boot raus zu fahren hat den Aufenthalt dann noch schöner gemacht. Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt.
