Large, beautiful property with lots of charm and all of the amenities. It's the jungle and the buildings are simple, so prepare to contend with a few ( harmless ) bugs in the outdoor kitchen and in the rooms. Road to property is a bit long, narrow and rough. Internet was a bit spotty ( reportedly due to construction nearby ) but cell reception was good. Overall met my expectations and was a joy. Thanks Hiram!

All in all it was a nice place to stay. The little Bungalows are very cozy. The staff was absolute helpful and always reachable. it's not directly at a beach, but close to the main road. I would really recommend it :)

What can I say about AKNA Cabanas. This has been my third time to Cozumel and somehow Jose manages to make it better easy time. I've never had an Airbnb host so invested in making sure I am having a great experience. He was kind enough to pick us up and drop off of at the airport for free. Provided endless recommendations about local restaurants and attractions. Connected us with locals providing tours (and getting us an amazing discount just for AKNA visitors). And overall, stayed in constant contact to ensure we had everything we needed and weren't having any issues. I've now traveled to 8 different countries and stayed in countless Airbnbs, but I can say the Jose has been the best host by far. I recommend this location to all my friends and family and will definitely be coming back in the future!

This is an amazing bungalow outside of the hustle and bustle of Cozumel! Near an amazing, upscale beach club and behind one of the best lobster places you will ever eat at! If you are looking for a quiet place to connect with the island you’ll find it here! Fernanda was very punctual and accommodating! Her space is clean and has a homey feel with a private outdoor area perfect for unwinding. The area was very safe feeling for my solo trip behind a locked gate. I will definitely be back!

Todo perfecto, muy bien ubicado, excelente si estás a pie, si bien esta a unos metros de la Quinta avenida no se escucha el bullicio ni la música de los bares, así que es excelente para descansar! muy buena relación costo-beneficio, lo recomiendo y sin dudas volvería.

This place is perfect for certain travelers. It is secluded; not far from Akumal, but once you arrive here, you won't want to leave. It is a place to unplug, relax, and get away. The home is a beautifully-constructed palapa with screened bedrooms, but otherwise wide open. Jungle noises, fresh air, and yes, insects, bats, and iguanas can and do pass right through. There is no air conditioning or heat, and the lovely private bathroom is a short walk down a path. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep; something to think about if you need to use the bathroom during the night. The outdoor space is huge, including a private cenote used by other guests, but we were usually the only ones there. The grounds include a temazcal, and other hand-built structures and lots of indigenous art. There are hammocks to nap in; spider monkeys and many species of birds. The staff are lovely, and Christiam is great. All are very responsive and helpful. Bring plenty of groceries so that you don't have to leave.

Largement le meilleur hébergement du séjour tant par la magie du lieu que l hospitalité de Claire et son fils ( qui parlent francais). Claire est une personne exceptionnelle qui a une vie incroyable. Pour nous ce fut une très belle rencontre.

Bien sincèrement l’hôte est incroyablement gentille , répond rapidement et les employer aux bars et au restaurants sont tellement gentil et serviable , ils nous ont laisser recevoir des amis qui logeait dans un hôtel à coter afin de prendre des verres sur la terasse , ces un petit paradis en ayant l’impression d’être dans la jungle , le logement était propre , petit et très mignon , ( les lits sont un peu trop petit pour 2 personnes ) , par contre , l’emplacement est trop à l’écart de la rue principal et les rue ne sont pas construite très compliquer pour se déplacer , il n’y a rien autour et la plage est accessible uniquement par un autre hôtel , les taxis sont bien trop irraisonnable pour pouvoir circuler comme on vx , un peu loin de la ville , sinon si vous ne voulez pas sortir l’endroit est paisible et il n’y a que des bruits d’animaux autour , les prix son raisonnable au restaurant et au bar !

Lovely little spot. Everyone is friendly and available to help. Maria Silvia genuinely wants to know that you have everything you need. It's right by the beach – easy to access. Cozy beds and great restaurant. Since they are cabañas, you can hear the surroundings, so be prepared for that if it matters to you – but it's a quiet area overall. Enjoy!

Es un lugar muy bonito y tranquilo en medio de la naturaleza, la cabaña muy limpia y con todo lo necesario para tu estancia ahí. Cómo había leído en comentarios anteriores, la comida de su restaurante es muy rica. Todos muy amables y atentos al igual que María Silvia. Muy recomendable! espero podamos volver pronto :)

Cocos cabañas es un lugar que nos sorprendió de una manera que jamás olvidaremos, y un lugar al que regresaría sin pensarlo. Si bien la única manera de llegar es taxi, o vehículo personal, lo que te regresa en comodidad, privacidad, y cercanía con la playa, vale totalmente la pena. Es un lugar increíble, todas las personas que trabajan ahí son muy amables.

Rodhe’s place is truly a gem. It’s peaceful, with the main square just a short walk away. The internet and TV were perfect for downtime, and the beautiful patio under the trees is ideal for relaxation. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful day I had. I enjoyed every bit of it. The staff was incredible. I would recommend this place and I will be back. Thank you to your who staff.
