Kind and helpful host, quick to respond to messages and lovely to greet on your stay and departure (great had WiFi and recommendation for places). Food shops local so didn't have to travel far. The cottage was peaceful, clean and just the stay we wanted with no disturbance. Hot tub was brilliant and it was ready as soon as we got there, allowed us to bring a fire which was lovely alongside the hot tub! Very pleased to have a TV in the bedroom as not many places have this. Definitely will be returning and recommending to others! Cottage was a win for us. Look forward to trying the yurt and cabin one day! 5* review for sure!!

Unlike anything we’ve stayed in before. The location is outstanding, the pictures can’t quite capture the beauty of the area which you can view from the bedroom, the patio, and the hot tub. There are lots of nice walks nearby which we made the most of before coming back to the property for a BBQ and a relax in the hot tub. Szilvia was a great host, very friendly and responsive, and everything about the location and the property were as described. We were so grateful to be allowed to stay in this stunning cottage that is unique in so many ways. The attention to detail inside is beautiful. Thank you for the memorable stay in your lovely home.

A beautiful well appointed cottage, lovely and clean with comfortable beds. The hot tub in the well kept private garden was a bonus. Poppy was responsive to questions and queries and had left some lovely personal touches to make check nice and smooth. Bath is just a short drive and there are lots of local pubs for a lovely meal out. The surrounding area was quiet and beautiful. We would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay, such a beautiful house in such a beautiful village! Everything was lovely., super comfortable and clean. Tori and Jack were great hosts and we would love to come back one day!

Brilliant 3 night stay at Humbug Barn!! Its a superbly presented converted barn, overlooking a stunning forestry valley! Amanda was a fantastic host, always on hand with whatever request or query we had, nothing was too much trouble! Early morning dog walks in the woods and we were lucky enough to see the local deer residents which was great! Long days out, with plenty of things for the family to do nearby, and what better way to unwind and relax than to sit in the hot tub which overlooks the valley. Everything you need is right here, wish we had booked longer and we will definitely be back! Thanks Amanda and family!

We had a lovely stay in the house! The place is lovely and the hot tub and very welcome addition! The price was great and the host was welcoming! Round the corner there is a little village shop with all essentials you’d need and a cafe too. The village is peaceful and quaint too. The host was very responsive and ensured there was a high chair and cot for us to use. There is also stair gates making the whole place very toddler friendly. The only problem we had were trying to get a taxi as the place is fairly far outside Gloucester itself!

We loved the cottage ,so clean and comfortable and the garden/stream /swing and animals were a real hit with the children. We were made to feel very welcome -homemade cake ,lovely coffee ,bread and eggs ,such a nice touch with Easter eggs for the kids . Thank you Tracey and Dave .

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Location was good for exploring the local area. Beware if you are tall, there are a couple of low doorways. Very comfortable stay.

What a beautiful place to stay. Lovely touch with the milk and biscuits and dog treats of course. Horseshoe Cottage was probably more than we expected with the cleanliness, comfy bed and sofa. We didn't meet Caroline but we knew where she was if needed. We did meet some of the people and horses from the stables. Everyone was so friendly. Definitely would stay again. 5 stars from us and the dog. It was far enough out of the way from the busy towns although easy to get to if needed. Plenty of walks close by so the car isn't needed if you like walking a lot.

We've had a wonderful stay at the Old Forge. The cottage is very cosy and homely with enough space to spread out. The cottage is set in a beautiful village with a lovely pub in, and a great spot to start a good country walk. Our doggies also loved being at the cottage!

This is a beautiful property that exceeded expectations. The host was very welcoming and had everything we needed when we got there. I would highly recommend it.

The bungalow is clean, comfortable and provided all that we needed for a short Easter break. The living area was equipped with all the basics, as well as with free Wi-fi and Netflix, although no other channels were available. The tv was small (32"), especially when seated on the sofa or armchair. During our three night stay, the local Forest School and Oakraven Centre had children attending courses, so there was something of a mini 'Rush hour' in the morning and evening. It was not a problem but required wariness for walkers and opposing traffic in a single track road. The woodland walks locally are good and plentiful, Lorraine providing good guidelines to other attractions and trails. A beautiful area.

Wow. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Lynt Cottage. It is a stunning property which has been beautifully decorated and which feels welcoming, homely, luxurious and comfortable. The beds are amazing; the kitchen and sitting room have everything you need; and the bathrooms are heavenly. The whole cottage is finished to such a high standard, from the bed linen and towels to the Nespresso machines - and there were some thoughtful and delicious welcome goodies (even for the dog!) which were so appreciated on arrival. Katie was friendly, welcoming and instantly responsive. It was wonderful to be able to spend a few days enjoying this fabulous property, and it is a great base for exploring the surrounding area. We would 100% stay again. Thank you!

This cottage was absolutely lovely. It was very clean and tidy and very comfortable and homely. The bathrooms were wonderfully clean. The surrounding area is outstandingly beautiful with many lovely walks nearby. Very peaceful.

The best things about this property are really how peaceful and quiet it is, whilst being surrounded by beautiful countryside. The house itself, whilst small, has everything you need. Very well thought out, with great little touches. Kind hosts. It was lovely sitting outside in the courtyard, reading with a coffee, whilst the sun was coming down and the owl swooping by.

We greatly enjoyed our brief retreat at this nice and charming Cotswold Cottage, off the beaten track. Very nice accommodation, immediately felt "like home". Very well equipped (though we didn't make use of the cooking facilities...) and also top regarding heating, insulation, internet access ... And the recommended "King's Head" pub around the corner was excellent (with the unexpected benefit of live music on Saturday evening...). Nice hiking/rambling options, too.

We had the most amazing stay to celebrate our Honeymoon. The cottage was beyond our expectations - felt like we were living in a fairytale. Martin had left lots of useful information about the local area which we used to plan our days and get the most out of our time in the Cotswolds. The cottage itself had everything you could possibly need for the most relaxing, peaceful stay. A trip we will never forget! Thank you for letting us experience a little cottage life with such breathtaking views all around! We cannot wait to visit again!

Le cottage est vraiment charmant, on s'y sent bien et en sécurité. Sur place tout y est pour passer un agréable séjour. La localisation est très bien pour visiter les Costwold. Louise est une hôte très agréable, avenante et réactive. Nous nous sommes sentis très bien accueillis, et ses recommandations nous ont été utiles! Une belle adresse à recommander chaleureusement! Had a lovely 3 nights stay in a very comfortable cottage with beautiful views across open countryside. The cottage is well equipped with everything you may need and was very clean . Lovely sunny conservatory leads onto garden and patio . Comfortable bed with lovely comfy pillows. Excellent location for travel to many of the popular tourist locations all within easy reach. Good instructions from Chris and Natalie for directions and check-in as well as secure gated parking . Would stay again if we revisit the area again.
