amazing place, couldn't ask for a better location, host and facilities

We stayed for two nights and felt relaxed and calm. From star gazing to playing garden croquet, we filled our time. The pool was great but be warned it’s cold! Once you’re in you are fine but it takes a few minutes to get submerged. What was really thoughtful, and much appreciated, was the home-made scones on arrival. Maureen and William were very sociable and very kind. We would love to visit again.

We had such a lovey long weekend at the farm house. The hosts were quick to respond to messages and check in was easy. The house is just like the photos, however they don’t do the garden justice! The house was equipped with all that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The garden is beautiful and the pool was amazing - heated to a comfortable 29• and in beautiful surroundings. My only suggestion would be a sign stating how deep the water is, however that did not distract from our enjoyment at all! We loved the table tennis table and brought our own garden games to play outside. We’d thoroughly recommend the house to families wanting an escape to the countryside.

We had a lovely stay at Jonathans place. Very quiet and peaceful but great countryside around and lots to do with family within easy drive. The facilities were great and so nice to have access to the pool. Great place for a getaway with family.

Cath and Mike were excellent hosts with an incredible property. Managed to get booked for a last minute weekend getaway and it was the perfect trip. Their place is amazing, in a gorgeous location and the facilities were such an added bonus. We spoke with both Cath and Mike and they were incredibly helpful throughout our stay making sure we felt right at home and providing recommendations for the area. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The stables were beautifully converted, peaceful and very comfortable.

Our stay at Poachers cottage was really wonderful and exactly what we had wanted. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the cottage was so thoughtfully and beautifully done. The facilities were incredible and we were very lucky to have the pool to ourselves with beautiful weather when we stayed. There was loads for our toddler to do and Adele had any bits we might need for him. I am pretty heavily pregnant and between the pool and the very comfortable beds I had a wonderfully relaxing stay and anytime I needed something, somehow it was already there in the cupboard or in the bedroom. We couldn’t have asked for more. Home made cake and local bits when we arrived and all. Honestly I’ve been so torn on whether to keep this place all to myself but I couldn’t help but rave about my holiday when I got home and have had 3 friends ask for the link to go and stay!

We had an a amazing stay. The home was so comfortable. I was visiting with 7 friends so they set all the room as single beds which was perfect for us. The pool was so nice and we enjoyed an evening swim while watching movies on the projector. The area is so peaceful and there are some lovely pubs nearby such as the litton. I would love to visit again!

Thank you Isobel for a wonderful stay in the annexe of your beautiful home. Peaceful, quiet, surrounded by nature. Quick drives to Longleat, Frome and Babington House - perfect weekend away. Great Airbnb to take a dog and toddler, they both had fun exploring the garden. Isobel was so kind and helpful setting up a cot and highchair for us too. Thank you, we'll be back!!

Perfect location to stay for a few nights, Walkable into the town which is beautiful. Lovely surprise having a welcome basket on arrival. Kitchen has all the things you would need. No problems during the stay but Lorraine messaged to see that we settled ok. Wonderful break highly recommended. Great host great home! Thank you Lorraine and family x

Had a lovely stay in Endeavor. It was very clean and there were plenty of toys, games and DVDs to keep the children occupied and busy! Very cosy bedrooms and a lovely big garden too.

Sweet little place. we stopped for a couple of nights as we were attending a wedding in Sherborne, but would have liked to stay longer if we had had time

WOW! This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! If you’re staying in Glastonbury but want a peaceful place to stay (which is ten mins from the walk to the Tor) just book it ! The house is absolutely stunning but we spent most of the time in the garden which is out of this world and very private. The hot tub was a huge bonus after a trip into town to relax away from the crowds – Sophie has made her home so welcoming & its perfect for a group. The beds are so comfy and all you can hear is birdsong each morning – its is so gorgeous and tranquil. The location couldn’t have been better – we went into town to eat (Queen of Cups is fab) one night but stayed ‘home’ for the rest of the time. Chalice Well & White Springs also within walking distance (down dirt track). Celebrated my 50th here and from start to finish it was the perfect weekend. Thanks so much Sophie. Beautiful property with everything you need for a great time with family and friends! Set on a beautiful orchard with amazing sunsets to enjoy from the hot tub! 100% recommend and we will be returning 😃

Fast and clear communication, swift check in, beautiful garden, spotlessly clean rooms, minutes walk from beach…we had an amazing 2 nights stay!

We have had an absolutely fantastic weekend at Hill House for my sisters Hen do. From the incredible building and surrounding gardens to the little touches like fresh tulips, cake, Prosecco and local cheese we were really made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil or pot you could possibly need. The dining hall is magnificent, the hot tub is huge, the beds are comfortable and the gardens are just stunning. When a shower was blocked, Bobby arrived within an hour to help! We are already planning when we can next visit Hill House and were all very sad to leave! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Stayed with friends and had a great time. Mandy’s place is immediately welcoming. A great location to walk into the village, the lake etc. all the beds were very comfortable and the house has everything you need. I would happily return to Mandy’s place and Blagdon.

Spent the week here with our whole family. We had a fabulous time, the house is perfect, we had everything we needed for a lovely holiday. Fiona recommended places to go/things to do with the children and was very helpful with any questions we had. Thoroughly recommend!

Fabulous couple of days away, celebrating birthdays! Large house, more than big enough for 12 people including dogs , comfortable beds, beautiful surroundings and the hosts quickly answered any questions almost immediately. A sacred haven in Glastonbury This home cradled me like a gentle whisper from the Earth, soft, serene, and steeped in ancient magic. Each corner held silence and stories, each sunrise felt like a blessing. A place where the veil feels thin and the heart feels full. I shall return, as one returns to a beloved dream.

This place was exactly how it was described and absolutely spotless. The house feels really spacious and comfortable. Castle Cary was also a beautiful location which we’d love to come back to. Thank you Roger and Ann for being such great hosts!
