Minutes from the coast, with direct access to miles of walks and cycle routes in The New Forest, Mallards is a charming one bedroom detached cob cottage set in the large garden of our family home. An ideal place to unwind and relax, it is set away from from the rest of the property so guests can enjoy their privacy, but hosts are close by to help if needed. Clean and very comfortable the cottage is full of charm with a private patio area with views over the garden and open countryside beyond.

Walk out onto the New Forest, enjoy the scenic garden looking over fields packed with wildlife, or enjoy cycling along quiet lanes amongst grazing ponies, donkeys and cattle. Two good pubs are within 1.5 miles in either direction and the historic towns of Beaulieu and Lymington are 3 miles and 4.5 miles respectively away. The quaint historic shipyard of Bucklers Hard nearby has a museum, pub and marina. IOW close too.

It is very near to the coast and the bustling Georgian market town of Lymington where you can also find the Isle of Wight ferry terminal ( 30 mins crossing ) or charter a yacht and sail yourself. Otherwise enjoy a ramble from your door across the forest but watch out for donkeys !

A cosy wood cabin located where forest and sea meet in the market town of Lymington, we are walking distance from the town quay and high street which offers many restaurants, pubs and shops as well as the outstanding Saturday market. A few minutes drive will take you out into the New Forest where you may see the ponies, donkeys, cattle and pigs which roam free. The studio is set in a fenced off area of our garden which is secure and dog friendly, we offer off street parking and bike storage.

The Old Piggery, East Boldre, New Forest

The Old Piggery is a lovely retreat set in a beautiful peaceful 3 acre smallholding in the New Forest with a great Hottub. The ideal getaway for couples or families it has direct forest access right from the gate. It is 2-3 miles from both Beaulieu and Lymington and 30 mins walk or 10 min cycle to the beach and two pubs. A light & airy 2 bedroom detached barn style building, it has a large open plan living/dining area, private garden, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, wood burner & TV.
