Great weekend stay! The house is well equipped, very clean, quiet and just a 10-15 stroll to the centre of Saffron Walden Highly recommend!

We all enjoyed our stay as very close to all our amenities .But was very modern,clean ,spacious home .Will defos stay here again and thankyou again Paul for the early check in as was good to just get organised for our birthday party that night. Many Thanks Gail and Familyxxx

We booked a two night stay at the Goose Barn to have a short break and to explore Cambridge (for the University). The barn was conveniently located, parking was easy and the barn was well presented and clean. It was peaceful and private which is what we were looking for. The breakfast goodies were a really lovely thought and the kitchen was well stocked and utensils were clean. The weather was against us and so we were unable to explore the local area as much as we had planned but there were maps etc if you wanted to. Communicating with Tessa was easy. Rooms were spacious and warm. Thank you Tessa.

Me and my husband have stayed here before around this time last year. Our dog Yogi absolutely loves running around in the garden. The home itself is minimilistic but with all you'd need to enjoy your stay. Me and my husband love just chilling and playing the board games that are in the home. Always so spotlessly clean and smells amazing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at House Of Luchini. The house was beautifully decorated, cozy and equipped. The house hosts were excellent and extremely responsive and checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable or needed anything. Our family had such a great holiday weekend together in House Of Luchini as well as Cambridge. We all agreed that we would love to come back. So, if you're looking for somewhere charming to stay that is close to everything in Cambridge, you have to stay at House Of Luchini!!

Lovely spacious house, great for families (we were 7) and pets. Big garden and walkable distance to the town centre. Recommend!

We had a fantastic few days stay, everything was spotless, the kitchen is so well equipped and the cottage has such homely feel. The hot tub was a great way to chill after a day out exploring the area and the added bonus of a games table which was enjoyed by us all. Emma was a great host, would definitely book again if ever visiting the area.

Caroline is a very friendly and responsive host. The property was exactly as described and the facilities were fab. It's noted that it's remote and it certainly is, about 1.5 miles into the nearest village (Little Downham) but it can be a bit noisy for the lighter sleepers as it's very close to an active railway and crossing. Alfie Acres is clean and well equipped and would highly recommend.

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

We were pleased to find accommodation available where we could all stay and have a bed, have our second Christmas Day and generally be together with lots of space. Having the pool to enjoy was a particular bonus as most of us enjoy the water.

Staying here was brilliant, the hosts are very friendly. The room is modern, spotless and has a nice homey feel. The hot tub is top quality and the pool looks beautiful even though it was too cold for us to use. It’s a fairytale at a great price, the area is gorgeous and a 15 minute train ride away from Cambridge, overall great location!

We had an amazing time at the Cottage! The bed was super comfy, and the whole place is incredibly peaceful – perfect for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy some quiet time. The surroundings are beautiful, and Angela was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.

The stay at the pool house was fantastic. Sarah was a lovely host, and was really accomodating with our check in and check out times as well. The pool house itself was lovely - very peaceful and quiet. It’s fully enclosed with was great for us, we could have a swim and let our dog roam around knowing he couldn’t run off. We’re already thinking of a trip back in the summertime :)

Had a great stay. Comfortable, well presented accommodation with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to the town centre with plenty of places to eat and drink. Combined with March parkrun it was a perfect weekend. Hope to visit again in the future.

A great stay and responsive host with a walk around the property from Hazel. Pristinely clean! Lovely location and a great start to the stay with local fresh eggs, butter, bread and cakes provided!

Our stay was brilliant, Heike's home was warm, clean, with beautiful decor, and a lovely garden, and she'd given us some lovely extras such as wine, biscuits, doggy things, foil tins for our Christmas meal, and had put up Christmas decorations - it was all very thoughtful. And Heike was very responsive which was very much appreciated. The neighbourhood is quiet and river walks are a 5min drive away. We all had a lovely Christmas, thank you Heike!

Beautiful campsite, with so many great places to visit around. The pod was perfect to make our stay a bit warmer than in our usual tent, the addition of the hot tub felt like a little treat! We had forgotten our camping stove, so Jane lent us a kettle which was just what we needed for our hot drinks! Will definitely be back 🤗

We enjoyed a peaceful stay at the Annexe which was perfect for our needs. The accommodation is well equipped with kind and thoughtful touches, and we appreciated being able to walk straight from the property along some of Hertfordshire's plentiful and well-marked trails and footpaths. We won't hesitate to book the Annexe again when we are next in the area to visit family. Highly recommended !

Keith & Bev were friendly & wonderful host. The bed was comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Love the little touches - sauces, cereal, bread and butter. The Nature Reserve was a short walk away - great for my dogs. Thank you again for hosting me & my furry boys.

Lovely, very well equipped accommodation, with everything of excellent quality. Extremely dog friendly- Sally even provides a sheet to allow fur babies to sleep on the bed which ours does, with easy access to the secure garden. We spent a very comfortable 4 days and would return.

Another lovely stay in lovely surrounding. Emily and Mike are lovely hosts They were very kind about the use of their beautiful garden with my dog who loved chasing Milo around the garden. Thank you both again
