Our host was absolutely awesome! Super quick to respond, full of local tips, and even offered early check-in and late checkout — total lifesaver. The loft is seriously gorgeous and so well put together. Bonus points for the epic library packed with cool books you’ll actually want to read. The bed was crazy comfy, the bathrooms were stocked with all the towels you could ever need, and don’t even get me started on the view of the Ben Franklin Bridge — absolutely stunning! The whole neighborhood just has this feel-good, fun vibe. We didn’t want to leave!

Perfect spot for a quick getaway to the city. Walkable area with restaurants 10-15 minute walk, really liked the Fish Town neighborhood and the space was perfect for my wife and I. Easy to find free parking, we’ll be back if we return to the area.

It was a lovely location for my writer retreat. Chris offered me a slightly taller chair when I asked, which was quite helpful as I was working on my laptop with a second monitor. They were very generous and attended to my requests including a later checkout time. The kitchen, bathroom, and the living room were very very cozy and created an inspiring living experience, which I was looking for. They also had a really cool espresso machine which was fun to use in the mornings! The fireplace in the living room was easy to control with the remote and elevated the experience, made cozying up with a book at night a highlight of my stay. One con is that the noise of the road in front gets to the bedroom during the day but they provided earplugs which helped. At night I didn't have trouble sleeping but it is good to keep in mind if you sleep too lightly. Overall, I would definitely come back and recommend!

This loft is gorgeous! Very unique space. Super convenient location with lots of walkable restaurants, grocery and bars. Free parking right outside with public transportation nearby. Highly recommend this beautiful place.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the cozy loft. It was perfect for 2. The hot tub was a great bonus. We liked that the location was at the end of a street, so it was pretty private for being in a city. Everything was exactly as described and we had everything we needed.

Enjoyed staying at the Lift as we did before! We hope to come back again in future.

This place is like no other! A true getaway and a perfect way to pause from the busyness of life and have some radio silence. This property, its lake and forest trails are extremely beautiful, a rare find. The studio itself has a lovely layout, with the elevated (and very soft) bed standing out as a highlight. There’s a lot of attention to detail put into this rental, and Robin is a great host. All instructions were very clear and easy to follow, and all interactions were super lovely. I hope to be back!

Jim and John were wonderful hosts. Very attentive and responsive. The loft was very cute, cozy and clean. Appreciated having a kitchen and fridge to store and heat up food too. Loved how convenient the location was; we were only a 5 minute drive to the beach and 10-15 min max from other local destinations.
