If want to walk, swim, sightsee, chill, cycle, eat out or shop we have have everything in strolling distance. You will have full cooking facilities, dishwasher and a washer dryer. A luxurious hot tub (perfect after a hard days hike) and an outdoor wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower are available at an extra cost. Art classes & tuck shop also available.

Traditionally built Log Cabin in a woodland setting, with exceptional views of the Western Fells. Relaxing and Cosy Atmosphere with a wood burning stove. The Cabin comprises of a Kitchen, mezzanine Bedroom, living area and adjoining bathroom. ( I list this cabin for 2 people but would consider allowing up to 4 guests if you contact me especially if you wanted to bring children for instance) Please note this property may not be suitable for guests with specific disabilities if a fire occurred.

Lodge on the Lake is a luxurious property located in a very special position right on Lake Windermere within the Lake District National Park. Enjoy uninterrupted views across the Lake towards the mountains from the privacy of the Lodge. The Lodge has a private setting within the 5 star Fallbarrow Park which offers that special break. Take a five minute walk into Bowness town to enjoy the many restaurants, bars and shops or a Lake steamboat excursion. Please note, pets are strictly prohibited.

It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Scandi Sky Hut a stroll from Windermere’s Lakes

Cosy up in the Scandi Sky Hut and look up at the stars through the glass roof. Inspired by Scandinavian space saving, a king-size bed, ambient colour change fire, mini fridge, coffee station, entertainment systems, and en-suite with excellent double shower have been fitted lovingly inside this adorable wood-panelled cabin with added outside decking area. The Scandi Sky Hut & The Scandi Hut are nestled in our garden, with private parking & an easy 20 minute stroll from Lake Windermere.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

Lake Coniston, traditional 17th Century farmhouse

The Farmhouse is a characterful, white washed 17th century farmhouse set in a secluded 1.2 acres of woodland with private lake access (shared with two other cottages) leading to the beautiful waters of lake Coniston. Situated in an enviable spot, the cottage is an ideal place for couples, families or small groups, to come and unwind in the peaceful surroundings and explore the Lakes by foot, bike or boat.

Gornal Ground House, The Lake District, Cumbria

Gornal Ground House is a five bedroom Victorian Cumbrian farmhouse, sleeping ten and situated at the entrance to the beautiful, unspoiled Duddon Valley; an ideal place from which to explore the Western and Central Fells of the Lake District. Newly renovated, the house is set in large enclosed private gardens and provides an idyllic, child and dog friendly rural retreat for families or groups of friends.
