We had such a lovely stay! The house was absolutely amazing—beautifully decorated, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The location was perfect, and every little detail was so thoughtfully arranged. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly throughout, which made the whole experience even better. We would definitely love to stay again in the future. Highly recommend!

Our stay was absolutely delightful. The house is beautifully designed and exudes a cosy, welcoming charm that made us feel right at home. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted, and the hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our visit. The hot tub was a standout feature and the perfect way to unwind. We also loved the thoughtful details like the selection of books and board games, which added a lovely personal touch. It was a truly memorable stay, and we’re so glad we chose this place.

We used James’ AirBnB the night before I got married and it was exactly the right place to be before such an important day! Clean, clear instructions to find and enter, and lots of amenities to help relax before the big day!

We had a lovely stay at Sorrel House. The property is just as described and was wonderful for a weekend away with longstanding friends. Grinshill is a peaceful village with good walking, and a relatively short drive or taxi ride away from Shrewsbury where we went for food in the evening. Everything about our stay was great and we’d look to book again!

The accommodation was great, clean & the hot tub outside really sets it apart from other places. Would definitely stay here again.

A great stay in a pleasant location - the property is easy to find, has straightforward, private parking & an impressively spacious footprint. The attention-to-detail of what is provided in the property is exceptional; essentially a full breakfast offering & an impressively-equipped kitchen in which I was able to prepare even a complex meal. Cleanliness was excellent & comfort levels high throughout.

This is a little piece of perfection. Will not disappoint. Location is perfect. 5 min walk along river into village. The house is spotless and beautifully decorated. The host was very easy to communicate with and responded to messages very quick. Will def be revisiting

Emma & Ian are incredible hosts. I would definitely recommend staying in their beautiful home. Walking in for the very first time, with the radio playing, beautiful smells and a calm homely environment. It really did take us away. On the side table the hosts kindly laid out leaflets of local restaurants/take away places which is so helpful! Their home was absolutely spotless and smelt amazing. The host ever so kindly left refreshments, fresh fruit and cupcakes for us on arrival. This was a lovely touch. I could go on and on, do not hesitate to book this beautiful home for your stay. The lodge was a halfway meeting point for me, coming from Southampton, and my friend, travelling from Southport. We completely struck gold on finding the lodge. It was everything we hoped for and more. The lodge was comfortable and had what we needed, and easy to find. The decking is in full sun all afternoon and evening and we spent many hours looking over the lovely pond, enjoying our cow neighbours and the wildlife in the pond. It was just stunning. Watersedge gave us the opportunity to try aerial yoga for the first time and was absolutely fantastic. Lots of lovely places to walk and stop for coffee and fresh cakes. Had a great Sunday lunch at the wheelbarrow castle and will definitely be returning to do it all, and more, again. Thank you to the host. The blondies on arrival were a lovely touch.

Beautiful little lodge and made extra special with the celebration package Sam arranged for my husbands 40th. Such a lovely view from the hot tub- would definitely stay again.

I took partner here for valentine's day and what a great decision. Louise was very understanding with us as we were much later than hoped to check in. When we arrived we were surprised with a welcome hamper full of essentials and food which made a super nice addition to our stay. The cabin was even better than how I imagined. Everything was spotless and amazingly clean, especially for someone like myself who is clean obsessed! The cabin was extremely cosy and all the facilities were perfect. It felt like a very private getaway in a lovely area surrounded by countryside. The local recommendations of local places to try did not disappoint either, I wish we stayed longer to try more of them out. Me andy partner was genuinely upset to have to leave when we did, I wished I booked for longer. I can't wait to book and come and visit in the future. I would recommend the cabin to absolutely everyone and anyone. An amazing experience to which I owe to Louise and the stunning cabin. Thank you.

5 Star Stay at this wonderful Place hidden Gem for sure. Kirsty & her Partner was always helpful when needed help. Very Clean and Looked after would definitely recommend. I'll be back for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was clean, well maintained and it was exactly how it was described on airb&b. The area was beautiful with little lambs and babby rabbits everywhere. It was very quiet and private to. The lodge had everything we needed for our short break. I wished we could of stayed longer.
