Een geweldige plek midden in de natuur. Erg comfortabel en met zorg ingericht. We waren er met mooi weer, dus ook kunnen zwemmen in het aangrenzende meer. Kortom een top verblijf

A great small cabin for 2 people and ideal for 1. Kitchen has basic needs. Kitchen table has an amazing view of the landscape surrounding the cabin. Very peaceful. You can also sit outside and enjoy the same view and listen to the birds. Bathroom is small but workable with a full shower and lots of hot water. Be careful of the glass shelf by the mirror; I hit the corner twice with my shoulder. Sleeping quarters is great for 1 or 2 people with space for luggage. Paul is just next door and very responsive to your needs. I would certainly return.

I’m from Skye, family is there. And it was a perfect place for us to stay close to family on a visit. It was absolutely A1 ever was brilliant and we didn’t want to leave. We will return next year hopefully Thanks again so much to Wendy It’s hard to find perfection when renting a holiday let, yet this place was perfect for us 5 stars

Our second visit to Mora certainly lived up to our expectations. Mora is very well equipped with everything you will need for your stay and is spotlessly clean for your arrival. We can highly recommend Mora to ayone looking for accommodation in our beautiful island. Thank you, again, Morag. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the opportunity to catch up with family and friends. We will be back!

Memorable stay on Skye! Very peaceful location and lovely cottage. Road a bit rough with potholes, but enjoyed the remoteness. Even managed to see the northern lights! We didn’t realise shower gel wasn’t provided and no shops nearby, so do remember to bring your own. Lots of coffee making devices but no coffee, so pack that too! Highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beautiful little cottage. Like a tardis with a nice roomy, cosy interior. Lots of space for cooking and very well equipped. The cottage has a fascinating history, which we learned from Maria, information in the cottage and a mention in the Kildonian museum, which especially opened for us as it closes for the winter in October. Despite the closure of cafes and tourist sites for the winter, we still managed lots of beautiful walks with magical views, and to shop well for a restorative feast at the end of the day. Also, enjoyed a fanastic evening of Scottish music at the Ceolas centre and a trip to Barra and the cafe in the lovely community gardens there, plus stocking up on seafood at the Barratlantic shop and things to take home at the Buth Bharraigh community shop. A lovely place to stay and a great location.

We stayed at bernadettes place for 2 days whilst working on uist very friendly nothing was too much for her overall a very pleasnt stay at bernadettes place would definitely stay again and the 2 lovely dogs are very friendly love a fuss

Two things make the Tinhouse a very special place to spend time :- 1. The location of the house / actual sighting of home affording privacy with magnificent views over the Loch and distant Cliffs in North West Skye. 2. The simple elegant architecture that maximises views and light coupled with the build quality that keeps the place cosy warm and totally relaxing day and night . Totally enjoyed both this special part of Skye and the down time spent in the house - to be honest sometimes it was hard to leave the Tinhouse to go exploring! Alan & Gill were fantastic hosts . I look forward to returning Joe

We loved the little cabin. It was cosy and the views were amazing. We appreciated the bits and pieces left for us and Elaine was very nice. The shower was excellent and I would 100% recommend.
