Enjoy a stylish and relaxing experience at this centrally located cottage in Port Elgin, ON. Newly renovated and professionally designed, you may never want to leave! Cottage 1 features a two bedroom layout, perfect for small families. You are an 8-minute walk to Main Beach and a 12-minute walk to the downtown restaurants and shops. You will also be close to wooded walking trails and the shore road alongside the lake where you can bike, walk or rollerblade to Southampton on the paved path.

Steps Away Guesthouse

Location, Location, Location. Once you have arrived you can park your car for the duration of your getaway. You can walk to the sandy beaches, stroll uptown to your favourite restaurant, shop in the many specialty stores located on "High Street" or wander down to the Saugeen River and catch the fishing boats arriving after a "day's catch". Breathtaking sunsets views are less than a block away and you will hear the waves from your Guesthouse patio while relaxing or BBQing the next meal.

Relax with the family lakeside and among the cedars at this peaceful A-frame retreat on the shoreline of Lake Huron. The door opens up into a large living room and kitchen with a 180 degree view of the lake. An 8-foot island surrounded by bar stools anchors the kitchen. Watch the famous Lake Huron sunsets while having a meal or soaking in the hot tub. Our front is a rocky beach with a fire pit. We swim here with our water shoes. The sandy beach is a 2 mins drive or a 5-10 min bike ride.
