The Magic Barn is located in the heart of Hawthorne's charming restaurant and boutique district: 3 blocks SE Hawthorne & Division, 15 min to airport, 10 min to downtown & Moda Center, under 7 mins to any concert venue in SE Portland, 1 block to cafe. The Magic House can be booked separately in conjunction with the Magic Barn for large groups. This was Todji's sculpture studio, he designed & built the Magic Barn.

This ENTIRE private street level apartment is steps from one of Portland's best parks. And it's just a few blocks from public transportation, has easy freeway access, is pretty near the airport, and is close enough to downtown to make that an easy trip also. It is walkable to Montavilla, one of the funnest pockets of local pub scene, boasting Breweries, Pubs, Restaurants, one of Portland's best Cocktail Bars, Dive Bars, and shopping, all condensed within a VERY strollable 3 or 4 block area.

It is close to public transport (near a MAX light rail station), the airport and outdoor activities (the Columbia Gorge; Mt Hood) and is a 20-30 min drive to downtown. It's cozy (eclectic vintage style), a wooded 1-acre setting within the city limits, and has secure premises (electric gate). Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We are within walking distance to many of the most popular establishments in Portland.

Great public transportation: 2 frequent bus lines within 1.5 blocks. By car, 15 minutes to downtown Portland, 30 minutes to Multnomah Falls, and 1 hour to Mt Hood skiing!

Built in 1924 by a relative of Meriwether Lewis, the "Gladstone House" boasts original Mahogany built-ins, hardwood floors and a classic front porch. The kitchen and baths have been updated but retain the historic character. The home is spacious and inviting, complete with full-size office and private patio. Highly walkable location.
