The Lobster Pot is an old family cottage that has been the location of many a memorable holidays down at the sea, snorkeling in the marine reserve, paddling around the rocky islands and going for hikes up the mountain. The Lobster Pot is a cosy little wooden cottage that is perfect for summer and winter, boasting beautiful views of False Bay and surrounding Cape point vista. The Lobster Pot is 5 Km out of Simonstown, between Bolders beach,penguin colony, and Cape Point. Come make memories!

A tranquil and relaxing retreat in its own right and ideally located for visiting local tourist attractions in the Vumba Mountains. A good spot for walkers and hikers, bird watchers and photographers. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, families and groups. We are a 30 minute drive from Mutare and 45 minutes from the Mozambique border post. Please be advised that we recommend you using a high clearance vehicle or a 4x4.
