Me and my girlfriend were visiting Cape Town for Valentine’s Day. We wanted somewhere private nestled in the countryside and mountains to relax and escape. The place only had two reviews so wasn’t sure it would deliver to our high expectations. However, This place didn’t disappoint, we were blown away at how private, calm and serene this place was. The hot tub was already set up and super modern. The interior was so beautiful and materials on the bedding and furniture was of very high quality. Reminded us of Soho home (we are from London) the shower/bathroom was so modern with it even has a back door that went straight through to the Hot tub. The top fan and room was so cool at night and temperature was the most perfect of anywhere we stayed. Megan was a phenomenal host and her communication was brilliant even allowing a flexible check in. The owner even privately welcomed us upon the property and then they gave us the private experience we were seeking.

Great place! Loved the pedal boat option. Perhaps not so ideal if you have toddlers because the staircase does not have rails. Minor issue really and other than that we had a good stay.

What a wonderful time we had in Alex’s beautiful Higgovale House with its special atmosphere. A home from home we felt immediately at ease. The tropical gardens give the feeling of being in the midst of the jungle - despite being only minutes from the lively Kloof Street with its many restaurants and coffee shops (wine bar/coffee shop/deli Tamboerswinkel deserves a special mention). We felt very safe at night and enjoyed being able to access Cape Town‘s sights quickly. A highlight was our hike to Lions Head - again only a stone throw away from the house. Alex’s great communication throughout our stay was not surprising, given his friendly welcome and advice and whilst we didn’t stay long enough to get to know her, housekeeper Barbara also seemed very friendly and attentive. We will be back!

A beautiful place which matched the AirBnB description. Hayley was our contact and was very helpful, it was lovely having her there to meet us at the property when we arrived and she provided great communication throughout our stay.

Heel mooi verblijf. Veel ruimte en privacy. Supermarkt en wijn tram op loopafstand ca. 5 min. Ontbijten kan bij o.a. wijnhuizen als La Motte (aanrader), in de hoofdstraat bij Smitten of bij een van de bakkerijtjes op enkele minuten afstand. Zelf ontbijt maken is ook geen probleem. Restaurants iets verder maar beloopbaar of enkele minuten met de auto. Veilige omgeving op een bewaakt terrein. Locatie kan bijna niet beter voor deze prijs kwaliteit.

We had a wonderful stay at Nikkis place. the home was perfect. Everything you need. A relaxed beach feel with the furniture, colour scheme and decor. stunning bathrooms and beautiful bed linen. The pool was a super extra and nice and close to the entertainment area. Braai facilities are great, the games room with the pool table, table tennis and dart board made for endless entertainment and lots of laughs throughout the stay. 30 seconds walk to the beach from house. and the bonus of having the dogs with us with the whole family. huge grass garden for playing and parking space. a Wholesome all round Wonderful Experience.

A wonderful place to stay! Great private braai area overlooking beautiful fynbos and we really enjoyed the woodfired hot tub. Comfy beds, well equipped, modern and clean. So quiet at night, close to the beach and beautiful star gazing.

Vernard was an exceptional host. Offered to help wherever he could - and he did. Beatrice was also amazing. Both were super friendly and accomodating. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for making our stay effortless.

The historic Herbert Baker design provided a comfortable and homely space to dwell in. Our family felt at home immediately. Its was a privilege to have spent the few days at this property.

We don't even know where to begin when reviewing this accommodation. Our 7 night stay at The Suite in Marloth Park was one of the best weeks of our life. The accommodation was perfect. The indoor space is great, lovely decor, comfy beds and everything you need but it's the outdoor space that really makes the accommodation. The pool was great and felt like an actual pool rather than a splash pool which we thought it was. The outdoor kitchen space with the braai was fantastic, we enjoyed having campfires in the boma area and the giraffe tower was a great place to relax and watch the sunsets. What absolutely made our week was the animal visits we got. We were so lucky to get several animal visits every day which included impala, kudus, warthogs, monkeys, zebras, a genet (very briefly) and 2 incredibly cute bush babies. We had the best experience living in the bush for the first time, with so many wonderful memories made. We would definitely recommend this accommodation. Thank you

Our stay at The Rafters was lovely! The house was a quintessential artists cottage with amazing artwork and beautiful interior design. It had everything we needed, but the rooms did get very chilly at night, especially with a little baby. It is walking distance to all the amazing restaurants in Kalk Bay. We loved our stay and wholeheartedly recommend it to other travellers! The wood-fired hot tub was very popular too!

We had the most wonderful family stay at Doug’s villa! The location was absolutely perfect with direct access to the beach, and the house itself was even better than we expected. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, from the beautiful decor to the well-stocked kitchen and super comfy beds. It felt like a true home away from home. Kathy was a fantastic host - helpful, responsive, and welcoming. We made such special memories here and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommend for a relaxing beach getaway with family!

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach unglaublich schön! Das Haus liegt mitten in den Weinbergen und ist sowohl von innen als auch von außen ein echtes Traumhaus. Besonders begeistert waren wir vom Hot Tub und der Badewanne im Baumhaus – einfach ein unvergessliches Erlebnis mit dieser traumhaften Aussicht. Unterhalb unseres Hauses gab es eine große Lodge, in der wir ein großartiges Barbecue genießen durften. Der Koch hat alles mit viel Liebe zubereitet und ausschließlich Zutaten aus dem hauseigenen Garten verwendet. Auch das gesamte Serviceteam war unglaublich zuvorkommend und herzlich. Ein besonderes Highlight: Unser treuer Wachhund, der nachts über uns gewacht hat. Wir haben uns rundum wohl und sicher gefühlt – eine absolute Empfehlung!

Beautiful and relaxing weekend away. The cottage has everything that you need and Sandy was an amazing host who went above and beyond to ensure a magical stay. This was the second time we visited the farm and we will definitely be back again.

We loved our time at Maggie’s place. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful! The place is exactly as described and has everything you need for a wonderful stay in the mountains. We loved how private it was and it is a short drive to Haenertsburg, Magoebaskloof and hiking trails. Beautiful interior space with great views of the mountains and waterfall. The sink hot tub is a lovely experience and in the perfect spot. We will definitely be back and are already planning our next stay. Thank you Maggie!

What a magical spot. Every detail was perfect and really loved every part of the trip. Beautiful crockery and linen and amazing wood fired hot tub. Defnitely try and breakfast at the restaurant. We had the french toast and full breakfast with venison sausage. Amazing. Can't wait to return

Absolutely stunning! Loved the morning game drive with breakfast afterwards. The bird life is unreal and even had a springbok graze near the dam where we were staying.

Cottage in the Kloof so perfectly describes this stay. Yet, if I were to rename it, it would be the house surrounded by birds. We awoke to the gentle sound of bird call and many a morning was enjoyed with a cup of tea watching the sun appear through the mountain with little Robins moving about in the plants that surround the home. Anywhere you look your eyes will fall upon the beauty of the mountain. We made use of the hot tub every day and loved our drive up to the 4 x 4 track to the new A-frame home. If you’re looking for peace and quiet then this is definitely the space for it. Thank you for having us, Jackie. We will be back for sure.

Gillian was a fantastic host, the cabin was spectacular and looked exactly what the images showed, super clean and had everything we needed. Thoroughly enjoyed a very peaceful weekend away in the forest :-)
