Peaceful location and just the right size. We enjoyed our time sitting on the porch reading, eating and just rocking in the large rocking wooden rocking chairs while chatting. We watched the ducks and geese on the lake. In the evenings, we could see the turtles stick their heads out of the water. Although there was lots to do, we only took advantage of the pools. If you are someone who wants to be doing something and planning activities to keep little ones busy, you have lots of options at the resort where this cabin is located.

From the get go, my experience with Dareen was great. I reached out asking for things to do in the area and I was sent a list of so many different things from food to activities to brewerys and so much more. Anytime I messaged Dareen, I got a quick and detailed reply. Directions to the BNB were very detailed and even included a video. The BNB was very clean and we loved the location. All of the amenities were ass described and we used most of them. I would highly recommend booking with Dareen. I know I will come back if I'm ever in the area again!

Our crew of seven (+ 2 dogs) loved our time here! This was an experiment of sorts to go somewhere slightly remote with no major travel plans to spend quality time together and see how we could entertain ourselves. For our family and kids' ages (10-15), 3 days would have been perfect, but 4 was probably a little much. We were about fifteen minutes from the nearest retail area, but it included everything we could have ever needed. The little park at the front of the neighborhood was expansive and clean; we walked through the mining camp museum then played family wiffle ball + soccer on the football field before the kids did sand volleyball (my husband and I opted out of the sand lol). We loved we could bring our dogs without having to worry about any cat dander (several of us are allergic). The stairs were too steep for the dogs, so they were naturally contained to the middle floor. Only heads-up is that there were carpenter bees - not harmful, but definitely freaked the kids out.

This was our second time staying at Julie's lakeside cabin and it was wonderful again. Modern, tidy and very comfortable rooms and beds. The amenities are fantastic - we loved the arcade and watching wildlife around the pond (saw bald eagles, osprey, and even a snapping turtle! - the hot tub was a great way to relax and warm up after a day at the beach. Convenient short drive to several beaches to comb for fossils - lots of good places to eat in and on the way to Solomons. Julie is a great host and a great communicator too!

This is a fantastic stay. I had a group of 8 and it was the perfect amount of space for us. The secluded and private back yard and hot tub are a treat. There are no neighbors so it really has a remote feeling even though you are 2 minutes from downtown.

This is a wonderful place on a large creek off the Chesapeake Bay. This place oozes with charm and ambiance and feels so peaceful. We spent the first day just relaxing and doing nothing but looking at the water and chilling on the front porch. The house is updated on the inside and has a large lot with kayaks and a fishing pier. Great hiking at the natural preserves in the area too. We're grateful to the hosts for opening their home to us and we'll definitely come back.

This was our second time staying at this cute place. We knew what to expect; took all linens, pillows, towels, kitchen towels, etc. as she lists. Also took two door mats and non-skid mats for the showers (the master shower was quite slippery so I knew to bring a non-skid mat). The place was pristine, from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The floors were spotless. Landscaping is mature and nice. The little beach was perfect for us -- while it is not private, and anyone can use it, during the two times we have visited, spring and fall, during the off season, there were only a couple of folks who walked; nobody set up chairs; we had it to ourselves. I imagine during the summer that is not the case. Liezel is delightful to deal with, friendly, responsive, concerned. We love her little funky log house, and will definitely return! We had a wonderful stay at this newly remodeled Airbnb! The space is beautifully updated and thoughtfully decorated, especially the spacious bedrooms which were both comfortable and stylish. The game room was such a fun addition and perfect for relaxing in the evenings. We especially loved the firepit area and the cozy swing chairs—great touches that made the outdoor space inviting. The only thing missing was some patio or outdoor dining furniture to make full use of the lovely yard, but overall, this was a fantastic place to stay. Would definitely recommend and consider staying again!

This place could not be more perfect for our trip to DC. It was the perfect distance to the metro. Our group of 8 had so much space of our own, yet plenty of room to be together in the common spaces and not be on top of each other! We went in the coldest month of the year, so unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the best of what the outdoor areas had to offer but the views were breathtaking regardless. Melanie’s place was extremely clean and everything was provided and then some! Everyone in our group would like to go back in warmer months to spend more time outside. Before we got there, Melanie explained that there was an issue with one of the sinks in the cabins and said she would credit us accordingly. I thought that was great! It did not hinder or create a problem whatsoever! I hope we get to make it back sometime!

Had a great time at the Elderberries cottage! The views were spectacular, and you could take them in from the enclosed porch, the open deck, and even the living room. The entire setup was perfect for a vacation/remote work getaway, and the kitchen has everything you need. WiFi worked great, and the smart TV supported pretty much any streaming service you'd want. Rachel was friendly and super responsive; we hope to stay there again sometime.

We piled 5 adults and a toddler into the house on Kelley Neck Drive, and it worked just fine! Bathrooms, AC, kitchen, appliances, etc, all worked perfectly, the furniture was comfortable and in good shape, and the house was spacious. The yard was perfect for us, but might have been small for older kids, and I wish there had been more than one kayak (but even one kayak was a bonus!) The heron was fishing at the mouth of the our private lagoon every morning, and an osprey and eagle visited as well. We barely heard any neighbors, and the nights were quiet and peaceful. Thank you!

This is such a nice spot if someone wants to get away from a suburban/city enviroment. Super cozy vibes and the hosts were kind and checked in on us while we were there during a snow storm. Overall highly recommend. Very private and comfortable cabin experience.

We loved our experience at John’s cabin! It was so incredibly peaceful - our host could not have been more friendly & helpful, even on a holiday weekend, the woods were beautiful surrounding the lovely cabin on a hill, and the beds were comfy. We definitely wished we were staying longer than a weekend!

This is a beautiful place! The views and property were as described - lovely view of nearby winery's grape vines and mountains. The cabin was well thought out for hanging out at the property with a nice big front porch for dining and a patio with a fire pit. Loved the pew-style bench dining nook. The place was very clean and the fresh cookies s'mores and other treats were a really nice welcoming touch. One thing to keep in mind is that there isn't a TV in the main room (there are TVs in the bedrooms) so something to keep in mind if you're gathering to watch the big game. Overall would definitely stay here again!

The weather blessed us with warmth upon arrival to Pizza Friday. Although making pizza was a new skill we gained in the moment, the fun we had while doing it was everything we wanted. We had a chance to use the fire pit, kayaks and games in the house. The kids enjoyed sleeping in tents on the ground and the Easter egg hunt scattered along the lovely property. The host was super responsive and allowed us to check in early at no additional cost. I think I may have messaged him a few times about AC and fire wood and there was no hesitation on getting back to me. The family loved this Airbnb and we have already planned an additional trip in the future.

Gerri's countryside cottage was just as described. I was in awe of the natural surroundings and the privacy of the cottage. I had the pool all to myself, which was very relaxing and just what I needed. If you enjoy walking, there are many areas on the estate to explore and enjoy the natural views. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind, I highly recommend Gerri's cottage. You will not be disappointed. It's an outstanding Airbnb. I would return in a heartbeat. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alexander and his wife's charming cottage, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, Alex and his wife were incredibly accommodating and helpful, ensuring we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage itself was cozy and well-maintained, offering everything we required for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking sunset views. Watching the sun dip below the horizon from the dock was simply mesmerizing. The location is also ideal—just a short 10-minute drive to downtown St. Michaels, where we enjoyed exploring the local shops and restaurants. The hosts truly go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome, and it shows in every aspect of their hospitality. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable retreat.

Just a stunning location! The bird watching was marvelous, every morning a pair of swans landed and swam around until dusk. Lots of blue herons, too. Good fishing right out of the back yard. The kitchen was very well appointed, good cookware, plates, cups, etc. bed were comfortable with really nice pillows. We spent most of our time around the fire pit or on the screened porch. A great place for relaxing!

We had a great time Michael’s place. The house was very roomy and comfortable. The view of the water was wonderful, and it was peaceful hearing the waves at night. The kitchen was well-stocked in terms of cooking tools. The campgrounds were quiet while we were there and we felt like we had plenty of privacy.
