This is our second time staying here. The house is always clean and has everything you need for your stay. It is located right by a beautiful beach and in a great location to access all that Spanish Wells and Russell Island has to offer. The kayak and snorkeling gear are an added bonus. You can see fish by the shore, but if you kayak out to the three islands you can see an amazing variety of fish and coral.

We had a great time at Dede's place, the beds are comfortable, the location is close to a wonderful beach and a small supermarket is also just around the corner (a larger one only 3min by golfcart away). the interior is very nice and the Kirchen well equipped. But most impressive was Dede's super fast reaction time on questions. Outstanding! Apart from all the positive Things there are also some little downsides: due to its central location in an authentic local neighbourhood there are some roosters around that started crowing at 5am and got joined by dogs at 6am. if you're not used to it, it may be a bit disturbing. and unfortunately the water supply is not 100% reliable. So during our stay water was cut off every night between somewhat like 1am an 6/7am. and once it was cut off for 4 hours during day time. In our case it didn't hurt much, but it depends what you're just up to. nevertheless we had a superb time and Dede's a great host with a super nice house! Thx for hosting us!

This was our first trip to Spanish Wells. The beauty of the ocean is breathtaking. We own homes on the ocean in Maine and Florida and the view in Spanish Wells easily tops both of those locations. The cottage was nicely decorated and very clean. The view from the cottage was beautiful. Audrey, the neighbor and cottage caretaker was extremely kind and helpful. She quickly responded to our every need. We truly enjoyed our conversations with her. We would 100% return to this rental. Having said that I will tell you that we have travelled the world and stayed at over 100 Airbnb type rentals. The only downsides that we experienced here, which had nothing to do with the accommodations, were with regard to dining options on Spanish Wells. Compared to other vacations we have taken, the dining options are slim. Especially on Sundays. We didn't want to have to cook on vacation and it was tough at times to find open restaurants. 10/10 for the cottage and 5/10 for island dining.

If you are looking for paradise, you have found it! This is a beautiful home with the most amazing views of the Caribbean. We loved the beach area and saw stingrays, starfish and turtles steps away from us. This was our second visit to the island and we definitely found our go to place! Christy is very responsive and took immediate action when we had a problem with the golf cart. I highly recommend vising this little touch of Heaven! You will not be disappointed!

There’s a reason Cay Casita has such great ratings! If you’re traveling to Spanish Wells, don’t hesitate to book here. It was perfect for our needs and centrally located.

Lucia’s place was just perfect for the two of us. The kitchen has everything you need, odds & ends left over from previous guests too so I recommend checking out what is in the fridge and pantry staples before heading for groceries. Fridge was perfect, we were able to get a lot in there. Go to Bernard’s dock for fresh lobster M-F at 3:30, it’s the best experience and amazing quality. We never saw the other guest(s) and only Lucia a couple times as she came & went, she was always available though. We really felt like it was our private place:) The house is in the perfect location, and you certainly can get by with walking & the bikes, but we were glad we rented a golf cart as it allowed for us to pack all of our stuff for the beach every day. Get out and try different beach areas, they are all so beautiful. The island is safe, the house is quaint & secure so we were able to truly unwind and let go for the week. Great family vacation spot. We had a wonderful week. Sea turtles and rays greet you right off the beach as you paddle by. Perfect, simple Bahama get away.

Everyone was so kind and quick to help out. Amazing how Mitchell was waiting for us at the dock to help us get to the house and equally helpful at check out. The views were amazing and the area peaceful.
