Great location, close to many areas while still feeling like you’re out in the woods. We had a slight issue with getting in and our problem was solved in minutes, I appreciated the responsiveness of the hosts. Beautiful home, will be returning for all our Canyon Lake adventures!

The place was clean and great for family and kids to hang out. Lots of games and outside seating. Host was very friendly and helpful, ensuring to meet our needs. I would stay here again and recommend this spot to other families!

Our stay was wonderful! Jayson was an exquisite host! A great place to stay! In a very peaceful community on the outskirts of New Braunfels, but close to activities, stores and restaurants. The house was impeccably stocked with everything you could possibly need! The yard was huge would be wonderful for families with young children. There was a very nice patio with a grill for outdoor cooking. It would be a great place to stay for a trip to Schlitterbahn. There was even some old school video games, very fun. USB ports located conveniently throughout the whole house. There was no searching for an outlet to charge our devices. It was very nice. The house had all the modern conveniences. It did not lack a thing. We would recommend staying there 100%. Everything was extremely clean and organized. Would definitely like to stay there again!

Very comfortable place to stay. Surroundings are peaceful. Chelsea mentioned it was a bit hard to find but she gave great directions and we found that Wayz gps located it perfectly. also, Chelsea was very helpful and accommodating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was extremely clean and very well appointed. We spent most of our time at the fire pit and outside areas and felt at peace. Jay was super responsive to all our needs and easy to contact. We definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick getaway.

We loved our stay at Kathleen’s River spot. Several cats were entertaining during our Al fresco dinners. We figured out how to stream to the TV, cooks steaks from the local HEB and the meat was yummy and were easily prepared with the provided charcoal grill. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor experiences. Everything we needed was supplied and if you needed anything HEB and restaurants were close. We were there for work, so didn’t partake in the river but local food was plentiful and service and hometown feel was exactly what we needed. Will work to come back and stay longer. Would love to have just sat, played cards and lazed a bit more!

Georgia, Eric and Dakota were wonderful hosts! Their place is beautiful, comfortable, and has so many thoughtful little touches. They met us when we arrived and provided so many helpful recommendations. Would absolutely recommend for your stay in Canyon Lake!

We can’t say enough about how amazing The Compartment is! We had a wonderful stay! Mindy met us as we arrived and showed us everything we needed to know. We loved everything — such a lovely quaint and quiet place. Lots of thoughtful extras inside…pancake fixins, snacks, toothpaste, lotions, etc. Loved everything! The bed was very comfortable. And I especially loved the separate sitting area room for some personal quiet time. It was very clean and spacious inside. Just the perfect airbnb! We hope to come back and stay again sometime!!

We stayed here to attend a wedding on the farm next door and it was the perfect stay, we wanted to stay longer! The farm is so beautiful, the space is very thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nancy was so easy to communicate with and a wonderful host. Coffee on the front porch in the morning is unbeatable. 10/10 stay, we hope to be back.

What a wonderful stay! Kenneth greeted us to give us a short tour - pleasant and friendly, but not intrusive. We enjoyed talking with him. The apartment was clean and lovely - not cluttered with enough decor to feel homey. We were in town for an event and did not cook like we usually would, but the kitchen was clean and was very well stocked. The bed and pillows were comfortable with soft quality sheets. The shower had no water pressure issues and was stocked with quality products, including name brand TP. The patio was lovely and we saw deer feeding on the foliage in the yard. Nice area, easy access yet quiet. Kenneth surprised us and printed out downtown info for us after we talked about our plans - he went above and beyond! I would definitely stay here again. Beautiful condo with all the amenities. Just steps away from great restaurants, shopping, and the legendary Gruene Hall. I would definitely stay here again and wish we could have stayed longer. 5 stars!

My wife and I went to the pickle festival at the fairgrounds, and this location was perfect. Could walk to the fairgrounds and downtown is a 5 minute drive. The condo was homey, clean, and perfect for our weekend getaway. Carrie was very friendly and responsive, couldn't ask for a better host. Highly recommend.

We had a great time and everything was perfect. We will definitely be back.

The place is great with plenty of space for 6 people. The living room/main room area was very spacious and we never felt crowded. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the balcony and heard over a dozen species of birds with a beautiful view of the very large lawn. The property is on the river but is so incredibly quiet. We really enjoyed paddle boarding and wading in the water and fishing. Recommend taking fishing poles and live worms, you’ll catch lots of bass. Also recommend taking inner tubes because there’s a great little rapid on the river that we had a blast going down. The water was incredibly clear too. It was easy parking wise and a short trip to Gruene. We will be back!
