Only stayed one night at Sandun's place, but a fabulous stay. Went on a great safari tour organized my the host, just a few minutes after checking it. The safari was fantastic with a guide who really knows his stuff, with a keen eye, he kept spotting the animals, that would otherwise not been noticed. After the tour we had a great srilankan dinner at the stay, and then again breakfast in the morning. Delicious!! Highly recommend!!

L'établissement "Natural Cabana" porte bien son nom. Les logements sont blottis dans un jardin verdoyant où les oiseaux chantent joyeusement. S'endormir au son des vagues est très grisant. Les "cabanes" sont rustiques. Il peu y avoir des insectes et des moustiques à l'intérieur mais rien d'extrême et pas dans votre lit qui est confortable. Le ventilateur au plafond est efficace. Le WIFI est assez bon. La salle de bain est petite mais livre la marchandise. La douche a une bonne pression. Il y a un restaurant sur place. On peut également louer des kayaks sur place pour se promener dans les lagunes. La mer est à deux minutes du site. Des chaises longues dont certaines à l'ombre permettent de passer la journée sur la plage sans brûler. Il y a d'autres restaurants sur la petite route qui longe la mer et des boutiques. Tangalle est moins infesté de touristes. L'endroit est calme avec une plage qui est longue et large avec un beau sable. C'est mon deuxième séjour à cet endroit.

Der Balkon, von dem aus man den Morgen beginnen konnte, war ein absoluter Höhepunkt – es war so schön, dort zu sitzen, den ersten Kaffee zu trinken und dabei den Eichhörnchen zuzusehen, wie sie von Baum zu Baum sprangen. Die Vögel kamen ebenfalls oft zu Besuch, besonders während des Frühstücks. Die Umgebung war ruhig und idyllisch – genau das, was wir uns für eine Auszeit vom Alltag gewünscht hatten. Wir haben auch einige Safari-Touren unternommen, und es war ein fantastisches Erlebnis, so nah an der Natur zu sein. Was uns besonders gefallen hat, war die Gastfreundschaft der Menschen vor Ort. Unser Aufenthalt bei Monika war sehr entspannt. Das Airbnb ist super schön, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und Zimmer und Bad schlicht aber sehr schön eingerichtet. Auf dem Grundstück gibt es ein paar Hunde, die einen an Anfang anbellen, nach einiger Zeit aber regelmäßig für Streicheleinheiten ans Tor kommen. Der Garten ist sehr grün und gut aus der Außenbereichküche zu bewundern.

Sanjaya and his family welcomed us with open arms although we had a little sick rescued street puppy with us. They are animals lovers and also have two dogs of their own. Sanjaya made sure we were feeling right at home from the first minute we arrived. We were amazed by the location, so calm, so peaceful and a little gem next to the bentota river. The cottage was clean and spacious. Sanjaya and his family are very generous people and kind hearted people. They also offered dinner and breakfast for a small price. The food was really good! Thanks again for this unique stay, we‘d come again If we ever visited this area 🥰

Ravindu's place is very nice. If you're after a peaceful retreat from busier tourist spots this could be it.Its super clean,spacious,modern, and you have it all to yourself.Near to lagoon and beach.Nice fully equipped kitchen and huge private garden for relaxing.10 out of 10!

This place is a true hidden Gem for nature lovers, lively sorrounding with jungle like plants and animals while maintaining good privacy. They also offer rides to the airport and attractions on the island. would definitely like to visit again.

אני אתחיל בדברים הטובים- הנוף יפה מאד מאד!!! המארח היה מאד ידידותי ודאג לכל מה שהייתי צריכה, הבריכה המחוממת זה באמת מדהים יש מטבח ומקרר שאפשר להשתמש בו, ובכללי הם מנסים שיהיה עבור האורחים הכי נוח שיש. הדברים שקצת ביאסו אותי- משום מה חשבתי שהבריכה היא פרטית, אבל היא משותפת, והיא מאד קטנה. ביום הראשון שלי נהנתי ממנה, ביום השני כשרציתי להיכנס היה שם זוג במשך שעות ובגלל שהבריכה קטנה לא הרגשתי נעים להיכנס יחד איתם אז במשך יום שלם לא נהנתי ממנה וזה חבל. בנוסף הפריע לי הרעש, באתי לשם למקום מרוחק מהעיר למרות שזה לא נוח- עבור שקט. על החלון שלי היה ערסל, מוקדם בבוקר עלו עליו האורחים וזה דפק לי על הקיר ועשה הרבה רעש. ממש הפריע לי לישון. בסך הכל יש 2 חדרים בכל המקום ואיכשהו עדיין היה לי רעש מהאנשים. זה לא תמיד ככה, אני מניחה שזה תלוי במי שמתארח, אבל בכל אופן מבאס. לגבי האוכל, יש בכל פעם רק 2 אופציות. ביום השני שלי כשרציתי ארוחת צהרים הם אמרו שזה לא זמין, וזה היה מבאס כי המיקום רחוק והסתמכתי על האוכל של המקום. מניחה שאפשר להשתפר בעיניין של האוכל. הזרם במקלחת היה חלש ברמה שלא יכלתי להתקלח.

I had an amazing stay at The Triangle House! The hospitality was exceptional, and the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The house was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made my experience even more enjoyable. Es ist schwierig für so einen Ort Worte zu finden, denn mit dem betreten des Eingangtors hat man bereits das Gefühl in einer eigenen Welt, voller Leichtigkeit, Fantasie und Ruhe anzukommen. Über meinen Aufenthalt von 3 Wochen wurde dieser Platz mein Zuhause und eines der größten Geschenke auf meiner 5 monatigen Reise. Einen Rückzugsort zu haben indem man mit Leichtigkeit seine Mahlzeiten selbst zubereiten kann - denn die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet - man sich kreativ ausleben kann, jeden Tag ein neues Tierwesen entdeckt und sich vor allem aber stets von der großzügigen, herzerwärmenden und bemühten Familie von Naveen und durch Naveen selbst unterstützt und beschützt fühlt! Mein Herz hat sich hier geöffnet und ich hoffe so sehr, dass nur gute Menschen auf diesen Ort und diese Menschen treffen, die dieses kleine Paradies zu wertschätzen wissen und sich ebenso verzaubern lassen können, wie ich es tat! (Sie Distanz zur Stadt hat für mich mit dem Scooter keine Probleme bereitet!)

Amazing hospitality and room, very clean and well thought out. The bathroom is small but enough. The kitchen space provided is very useful and there is enough storage in the room for all types of belongings. There are very many mosquitoes outside, but not a single mosquito inside the room. They had even kept mosquito repellent spray in the room. The breakfast at the patio was a beautiful experience. The two friendly dogs at the property are a great bonus.

Room was spacious and clean. Bed and pillows are a memory foam. Hot water. Cold AC. Big breakfast catered to how you like. They had beach towel and lent us an umbrella if there was rain. The beach is a few minutes away. There are restaurants near by. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast included is such a big bonus, we were very thankful.

Le logement était magnifique, avec une vue incroyable face aux plantations de thé, reposant et apaisant. Nous avons adoré ! Il y avait du thé pour le petit déjeuner mais pensez à prévoir le reste. L’endroit est vraiment isolé au bout d’une route très endommagé, il manque un peu d’indications. Mais le cadre est vraiment magnifique.

We hebben een fijne tijd gehad bij Sandaru. Midden in het regenwoud omgeven door de geluiden uit de natuur. Sandaru en alle medewerkers zijn ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en respectvol. We voelde ons erg welkom. Het zwembad zorgt voor een heerlijke verkoeling na een wandeltocht door het regenwoud. Verwacht geen luxe in het regenwoud. Het is een pure beleving met alle basis behoeften. Er is een bed met klamboe, douche (lauw water), toilet, kastje en een stopcontact. In de avond zit je gezellig in het restaurant gedeelte. Vanuit hier spot je apen, grote eekhoorns en verschillende prachtige vogels. Het eten is het beste wat we tot nu toe hebben gehad in Sri Lanka, hele grote porties en ontzettend betaalbaar. Houdt er rekening mee dat er bloedzuigers, spinnen en kakkerlakken aanwezig kunnen zijn in/rondom het huisje.

A great place to stay with a beautiful atmosphere and stunning surroundings. While getting there can be a bit challenging—as mentioned in the description—the moment you arrive, the room and the scenery more than make up for it. One small suggestion would be to add a mirror in the living area, as it was a bit inconvenient having to go to the washroom every time. Overall, it’s definitely worth the price. We had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again. Highly recommended!

Kjempehyggelige mennesker, særlig Subash som jeg snakket med flere ganger under oppholdet. Han fikset og hjelp om det var noe som dukket opp, og hjalp også med å ordne transport rundt omkring. Frokosten var kjempegod.

Such a lovely stay a highlighting our long trip to Sri Lanka. Loved the house, the staff at the property, and the spa next door. Loved having our own kitchen (it’s fully stoked), and as a couple to have privacy away from the busy town when we wanted. Location to the beach and other walking distant destinations was perfect. Super happy we stayed here highly recommend

The Treehouse was a lovely break from city life however still local enough that in 10 minutes you had shops and restaurants. The treehouse itself was absolutely lovely & we really enjoyed it. Prepare yourself to embrace every part of nature, I know it can’t be avoided due to location and venue however be ready for ants !!!!& don’t forget your bug spray

Es waren wunderbare Tage im Ella Retreat und wir haben die ausgesuchte Gestaltung und Umgebung der Unterkunft sehr genossen! Affen leben friedlich in unmittelbarer Nähe und wir konnten sie wunderbar von ganz nahem beobachten. Ein besonderes Dankeschön an Kushan, der sich sehr freundlich und fürsorglich um alle Belange kümmerte und uns sorgsam bei einer Wanderung zum Wasserfall durch den Dschungel begleitete. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ausgewählt gestaltet, die kleinen Dinge die Momente groß machen :) Gerne kommen wir wieder.
