We rented this place to be near our son and hoped to use the outdoor patio. it was too cold for them, although I sat out there. It was a fantastic location and we'd definitely consider it again if the kids are still living in the same area when we visit. It was roomy, comfortable had fabulous access to just about anywhere we wanted to visit. It was in a quiet space and a pleasant place to hang out. If you're a pet person, you'd probably love this rental, as well.

Thankful for this gem for our staycation while displaced due to our furnace giving out. Tamela was super communicative and supportive through the whole thing. Even gave up her secret bedding finds as the beds were SO comfy! Our kids loved the house as well, the front porch is so cozy and inviting and it felt like our home away from home. Thank you!

Enjoyed my time here! Lots of space and the fenced years was great for my little dog. Good location near downtown Ferndale on a nice, quiet street. I had some trouble getting into the house at first, but the host was very responsive and found a solution.

Very clean, the park is really nice. The area has plenty of options when it comes to eating and coffee. Not a bad drive to get to downtown Detroit from here too. I would definitely stay here again

We loved our stay at your house!! In fact we are looking to book again in July for a couple of days. We head down to detroit at least a half a dozen times a year for sports and concerts. Your place will be the first place we look when booking in the future!! Great job :)

House is located in a quiet neighborhood, lots of space, adequate parking and had all the amenities we needed! Host is very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and will book again for future stays!

The place is stunning, lots of privacy, place is fully fenced for your privacy, jacuzzi was something to have, during cold winter especially. Five star accommodations and host. Peter home was amazing the pool and pool house is the best in the area. So many convenient amenities, great locations . Highly recommend

This was a beautiful place! About 30 minutes from downtown Detroit. Plenty to eat near by of a good variety! They offered local recommendations for food and places to go. The place was stunningly beautiful. I would highly recommend.

The place was absolutely gorgeous! also the neighborhood was quiet that it was a nice change of pace for us to rest after working at a noisy environment. Felt like home 🏡

We had a great weekend. This is not the kind of place some airbnbs have become -- a hotel experience. Instead it had an authenticity and humility that we loved. The horses and other animals were fantastic, and the space was very comfortable. We would love to go back again.

Charles place was really huge with lots of outdoor activities that can be done. We enjoyed a lot with friends and family. This place is for sure a summer airbnb where you can play outside. Best part was it had all the amenities mentioned in the description, we were able to play snookers, table tennis and other games. Only recommendation would be to carry a Chrome cast/Fire stick to connect to the tv. Charles has setup an amazing TV room but only has cable network. Since it's in a private secluded area, the tap water is a little greasy.

Beautiful clean home, beautiful yard and pool. Very spacious, fit our family of 6 very well, plenty of room. This is our 4th time renting from Colleen. Twice here and twice at the lake house. We will definitely rent from her again. She has beautiful homes. Thank you Colleen!

Maylinn’s place was a perfect home away from home on a family trip to the Detroit area for Thanksgiving. The home is cute, with lots of nice updates, and was the perfect size for our family of three people and one dog. Everything was exceptionally clean — above expectations. Our 11 year old daughter enjoyed her room and thought the trundle was cool. Our dog loved having a yard to play in. We were glad we brought his tie out, as only three sides of the yard were fully enclosed. But it worked out just fine. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook dinner and make breakfast. There was a washer/dryer. One thing to note is that there was no dining table. There is one eating bar with two bar stools and another table with two bar stools. We would definitely stay here again. Great place for the price and really wonderful to have our dog with us. (He does give a “snort” for not being allowed on the furniture. But we explained it was better than being left at home. He agreed.)

We enjoyed all the comforts of home in this lovely house while getting to know Rochester. Gabe was super responsive and helpful. There was plenty of space to enjoy extended family time. Wooded trails out the back door and an amazing neighborhood park were added bonuses! The kitchen had everything we needed. A great home base for experiencing all that Rochester has to offer!

Our stay was great! The airbnb was so cozy- it was the perfect winter getaway with the fireplaces and cozy atmosphere of the home. Our host was great and we even extended our stay an extra day because we loved it so much! We highly recommend going to the local museum (it’s a bit hard to access the lake in the winter from our experience because it snowed a bunch but there’s still lots to do). Would definitely go again!

Perfect house for a family weekend getaway! Besides the trouble getting in, everything else was perfect! Hope to book again but during the summer to use the amazing beach!!

My family enjoyed a few nights at the blue house and our stay was overall a great experience. The house was clean and we could tell Daniel and his wife pay close attention to detail. The decor was just right for the house and each room felt cozy. Our kids enjoyed the basement games and they loved the option of watching a few shows on Netflix. Our dog seemed to like the backyard as well. We appreciated the blackout blinds in the bedrooms, as they made sleeping more enjoyable. I loved that the kitchen had a variety of utensils, pans, appliances and a good size refrigerator. Thank you for a great experience!

The view was beautiful and the house was so cute and cozy. They clearly put effort into every detail to ensure that their guests had everything they needed.

The Urban Cottage was a lovely get away for my husband, myself and our pup! The outdoor area is very spacious with areas for our dog to run loose! She loved it in the back open field area! We were introduced to the space and given keys by Steve. He was nice and informative. It is not self check in so you will tell them it ETA. Sarah was nice via messaging as well. You felt immediately comfortable! The space has a fun vibe and I enjoyed journaling and drinking tea out by the creek at the outdoor table. I found the cemetery very nice behind the property, there were people who use the trail back there, we didn’t explore it ourselves. The shower was small but nice and had shampoo, conditioner and soap. Everything was very clean. The Keurig was an added bonus and there were a lot of plates, bowls, utensils and cups! The bed was very comfy and the comforter was really warm! We had a great sleep! The photos are all accurate and it is decorated beautifully. Thank you for a wonderful stay! A+!

Get place for a family to spend time in Detroit. Will stay again.
