The place was beautiful, clean, & cozy. Loved all of the amenities, and the view to the lake was really nice. This was my first time booking an Airbnb, and it did not disappoint! I would book it again in the future!

This cabin was everything we wanted and more! It’s in the perfect location, just a short drive to so many activities but also tucked away offering privacy. The house was so cozy it put us at ease as soon as we walked in. The owner was proactive and very quick to respond, including sending a great packing and local activity list a couple days in advance of our trip which came in very handy. Activities: This rental comes with guest passes to the private Shark Tooth Beach where our kids had so much fun finding real shark and manta ray teeth in the sand! Westmorland State Park and George Washington’s Birthplace both had great hiking and beaches for the kids. We visited Garners Produce twice where the kids fed animals and pedaled toy tractor’s while we picked up farm fresh milk and eggs. We spent our afternoons kayaking on the quiet lake soaking up the sunshine. We will definitely book another vacation at this cabin. You will not be disappointed with your stay at this little gem!

This was our second stay at Beach Please and it was just as delightful as the first! The house was again squeaky clean, thoughtfully decorated and had plenty of room for our multi-generational family to spread out. Grandparents appreciated the first floor master bedroom and kiddos loved the game room, and the crafts and puzzles upstairs. The neighborhood is peaceful and cozy, with beautiful views in every direction. The addition of the acoustic guitar for songs by the firepit was a major plus, as our ten year old is a music lover and almost brought her own. We had a great stay and would recommend this AirBnB to anyone! Grab a week (or two) and don't think twice.

We loved Marla & Will’s place. The house was clean, the kitchen had all the tools to prepare a meal, plenty of towels,comfy beds. The views were beautiful from the front porch, we used the kayaks and had my children play at the little beach that was available on low tide, my children played in the water, we only saw one jellyfish. We also did some fishing, used the crab trap, did not get any crabs but it was still a fun activity for my children ! We also found oysters in one of the beaches that appear on low tide. Also, we appreciated the storybooks for children, toys, bed rail guard and highchair. For grocery shopping we used Food Lion, the Little River seafood gourmet, and Jeff Country Market. We also ate at Reedville Market and it was delicious. Overall, it was a great stay and we can’t wait to go back !

I don’t know if I can express how much I loved our stay at Rich and Yumi’s place. The property is very beautiful, private and very peaceful. We enjoyed fishing and taking in all of the sights and sounds of nature surrounding us. The fire pit area and hot tub were very nice additions to the property. The house was very clean and comfortable. The house was very well stocked. Rich and Yumi pay great attention to detail. We were greeted by a nice welcome basket and card to welcome us. After departing we realized that my daughter had forgotten a few items. Rich was very responsive and helpful in locating the items and arranging to ship them to us. I absolutely fell in love with this place and definitely plan to return in the future. Thank you very much Rich and Yumi for sharing your amazing property with us!

Nice house for a group - nice bedrooms and space. Peaceful area and beautiful view! House is well taken care of and had all we needed for a relaxing weekend. Town of Montross was cute.

This was our second time staying at this cute place. We knew what to expect; took all linens, pillows, towels, kitchen towels, etc. as she lists. Also took two door mats and non-skid mats for the showers (the master shower was quite slippery so I knew to bring a non-skid mat). The place was pristine, from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The floors were spotless. Landscaping is mature and nice. The little beach was perfect for us -- while it is not private, and anyone can use it, during the two times we have visited, spring and fall, during the off season, there were only a couple of folks who walked; nobody set up chairs; we had it to ourselves. I imagine during the summer that is not the case. Liezel is delightful to deal with, friendly, responsive, concerned. We love her little funky log house, and will definitely return! This is a wonderful place to stay! Our entire purpose of this weekend getaway was to relax and enjoy the surroundings and we came to the perfect place- Being on the water is so peaceful and relaxing. We also enjoyed the hot tub and watching the sunrise. The dock was nice for relaxing and some fishing. The home is decorated nicely with everything you need. Thank you Brittany ! We had a great time at Nicholas and Dana's place! It was both fun and relaxing. We really enjoyed the little beach, the dock and the kayaks. We caught some catfish and one tiny crab in the crab trap (and threw everything back in). It was nice to have the firepit and hot tub to use too. And, the kids really liked being downstairs in their own space. The only issues were that the key pad wasn't working to get in to the front door which was frustrating after a long drive and the grill was very slow to heat up and probably needs to be replaced. Overall, this home was a really good choice for us and we would stay again when visiting family in the area.
