Great place, quiet and restful. Amanda was a helpful and welcoming host.

We stayed at the East Camptons for 6 days, would definitely come back! It was very clean and had all the amenities we could ask for. The location was perfect, in between NO and Slidell. My husband fished off the docks and used the crab traps. I had coffee on the dock or deck every morning to see the beautiful sunrise. The fish factory next door was somewhat noisy but from previous reviews we were prepared and it didn’t interfere with our time at all. It was interesting to watch the boats coming and going and the birds they attracted. The space under the house doesn’t have the “kitchen” in the pictures but it does have a grill. The king bed was super comfy. Patty and Janet were promptly responsive with a couple of questions I had. Be prepared if there is wind the house sways a bit (felt like when you’re sittingin your car on a bridge) apparently this is normal with a house on pillars. I highly recommend eating at The Palmettos on the Bayou in Slidell, close with a great atmosphere.

This was a very great place to stay. The backyard was peaceful, and a beautiful scenery. I also want to add that the view of stars at night above the water is an absolute sight to see on a clear night. Thank you for an amazing time and great experience.

The sunsets were amazing! The place was cozy and the neighbor was awesome. We planned on have a family getaway while we were there for baseball. Half the family didn’t end up making. (The ones that know how to fish) but the neighbor Kenny gave my son some live shrimp to fish with so he didn’t get skunked.

If you like privacy and outdoor / water activities this is the place for you. The property is very private and large and the house is big as well. The bed is super comfy and I had such an amazing and relaxing time sitting on the porch. Only downsides are it can be too windy occasionally to sit and eat outside and birds might use your car for target practice if you know what I mean but that comes with staying on the water. Overall very worth it and I would stay here again and I recommend it HIGHLY

Worth every penny. Gorgeous house with gorgeous views! Peaceful place to zen away. The dock for fishing and crabbing was a bonus. So much room to stretch around the house. Will definitely come back.

What a wonderful place for our family reunion - busy New Orleans at your doorstep, but also impressing swamp tours, the Infinity Science Museum and beautiful sunsets. Many thanks for sharing this special spot!

My Girls Trip was truly complete with this place to call home for the week and the scenery was incredible! Literally the most peaceful part of Louisiana on down to the residents. Would definitely Recommend! Felt completely safe and right at home. The space looks exactly how it did in the pictures honestly way better! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb that truly exceeded my expectations. The property is located on the bayou with a beautiful walking trail, which was an absolute delight during my recovery from surgery. The cleanliness of the space was remarkable, making it a safe and comfortable environment for my needs. I was especially grateful for the recliner in the sun room, which allowed me to relax without discomfort. The hand-held showerhead was also a fantastic addition, making my post-surgery routine much easier. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to recover. Blume cottage is in excellent location. Old historic Mandeville is great. Accommodations were awesome. Wonderful weekend

The Cottage was absolutely fantastic! The place was incredibly clean and well-equipped, and the location was perfect. My kids loved the lake. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting!
