We loved this airbnb and stayed for 3 weeks. It sits right on the edge of the marsh with an extraordinary view. We greatly enjoyed how a short walk away is Chaffinch Island, which is a gorgeous park full of tides pools and hackberry trees. The space was clean and comfortable and Mary was a fantastic host. You can see a lighthouse on an island 3 miles out sea from all the rooms, even the main bed.

Just as listed...small cottage by the water and the view was stunning! I liked relaxing in the swim spa or by the calming lights and sounds of the fake electric fire-- definite cozy vibes! The kitchen is clean and well stocked with utensils etc. Feyza was great about checking in. Thanks!

The place was clean, beautifully kept and well supplied- we loved the backyard! Gabriela was very communicative. Highly recommend!

Our family of five loved staying at Yoka and Val's place. The location is very quiet with a peaceful pond across the street. The house itself is very clean and comfortable with everything you need - towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee and spices - easily available. The beds were also very comfortable. The best part, of course, was the private hot tub in the back yard. It was set in a canopy for extra privacy and wind protection. We loved it. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Chateau René is the perfect peaceful escape. The home cozy and well maintained - exactly as pictured. The view made every morning feel like a dream. René was so warm, responsive, and accommodating. He shared great local recommendations and clear instructions for the house, which made settling in a breeze. The most special part of my stay was getting engaged here! René secretly coordinated with my now-fiancé and friend to make it all happen. His excitement and willingness to help meant a lot to us. Overall, 10/10 stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Such a cozy space!!! My small family really did enjoy our peaceful stay. I would definitely book again when in the area. I felt such peace and serenity sitting under the stars, in front of the crackling campfire. It was me and the hubby with 2 of our girls ages 10 and 16. They loved the hot tub and s’mores:). The house is well maintained and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook/grill. The hot tub was pleasant and the backyard was great for our kids. The location is only about 7 minutes from downtown Cold Spring and 15-20 minutes from Beacon. The location was ideal for wanting a mix of peace and quiet with accessibility to local attractions.

Was the perfect little get away for us. And it was nice to find a place that accommodated the dogs so well. We appreciated being able to get to places easily but at the same time have a peaceful place to return to.

Nice little getaway during the cold season. The hot tub was excellent and about 100 degrees so perfect even with the cold temperature. It was still possible to put together a meal with the propane grill and warm things up in the microwave or store them away in the fridge. The heat was excellent in the space. Seems like it would be a great place to stay in the summer as well!

Leah was an incredible host, but a bit nervous at first. Our stay was absolutely amazing, and our dogs felt right at home in their cozy cottage. It was such a cute and comfortable place, and we’re so glad we chose Leah as our host. She went above and beyond for us during our stay.

My husband and I had a great stay. James and Rose are super helpful hosts. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Walking distance to a lovely park they recommended with tons of hiking trails and very quiet.

We had nice weekend at the cozy cottage. We loved that it was pet friendly and a short walk to the beach. Cameron was very friendly and responsive. She offered great suggestions for food and activities.

The cottage was exactly as advertised—beautiful, peaceful, and the perfect getaway. Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up. The hosts were welcoming, and their dog was the friendliest pup ever—such a sweet addition to the stay! Definitely recommend and would love to come back.

We stayed here as we needed a stop over. The house is isolated and the terrace overlooking the river is fully private. We had a great time sitting outside and enjoying the peace. Bonus: it’s walking distance to the nearest beach. Would recommend and stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home is absolutely beautiful, just like in the pictures, and we were very comfortable. Karen was also nice enough to accommodate an early check in, which we greatly appreciated. My daughter and I had a good time looking through the antique shop down the street, and the proximity to New Paltz made it easy to check out local restaurants and do some window shopping. All in all, it was a wonderful place to come back to after some busy days hiking and exploring the area.

Well thought out space. Quiet neighborhood. Has all the essentials needed for vacation. There is a chair in the bedroom that converts into a small single bed for a child. Nice backyard space.

This cottage is the perfect getaway for rest, relaxation and a little adventure. We were so comfortable there and felt right at home. The location is fantastic- away from hustle and bustle, but close enough to explore surrounding areas and villages. The cottage is full of extra special touches that make the stay even more great. Lisa is a great host, and her communication from the moment you book to checkout is unmatched. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for 3 months and enjoyed our time very much. We were very happy from every perspective: The cottage had all the equipment we needed and wished for. We sometimes used the fireplace and loved the bed/couch. The cottage is perfect to rest and focus. We enjoyed to have so much nature around us. We took a walk in the close park with a lake almost every day. We liked to live at a small farm with dogs, chicken and goose. Debbie and Kirk were always there when we needed them and also made us internationals feel welcome. They explained and helped us proactively e.g. changed regional weather circumstances. We also regularly got eggs from the chicken what was always a nice surprise. Communication/ interactions were always easy and friendly. I recommended my work to plan future stays for assignments in this Airbnb. In our opinion it is better than a hotel: Very comfortable, cozy, close to nature and a special American experience. Mark was an excellent host! The cottage was clean and spacious. Mark greeted us, gave us local recommendations and kept in touch with us throughout our stay. Great location—close to town, the Merritt Parkway and I-95. We will definitely stay here again!

we love Walkers place and do come here twice a year. it's a beautiful home, it's so zen, so pretty, so clean, we just absolutely love it. it's a great fabulous house and spot to stay. ♥️

Cheryl's place was adorable! I felt right at home in the cosy open concept living space. My mom crashed the weekend portion of the trip which was nice. My cat Mushu had a wonderful time and we even went outside. The beach was about a four minute walk for me, and a breathtaking view as you approach. Cheryl had everything necessary and mentioned. Next time I'll be sure to bring coffee filters and sugar. There were unexpected amenities too like paper towels and trash bags, and candles. There were also tons of spare toiletries like shaving cream and shampoo and conditioner and body wash. Thanks again!

The cottage was inviting and enabled family time around the fireplace. The kitchen was well equipped with everything in good working condition. The master bedroom was warm and comfortable. The bathroom suitable. The walk down to the lake, as described in the listing, was a favorite. Watching the sunset over the water was memorable and gave a nice photo op.
