The Garden House

A beautiful, recently renovated two storey house attached to the host's home. It is secluded, south facing and sunny, with glorious views across water meadows to the river which cuts its way beneath steep woodland and past the best fine dining pub in Herefordshire, The Riverside. The house has its own terraced garden and below, an orchard - great for dogs. We are on the marvellous Mortimer Trail which is a 30 mile walk between the towns of Ludlow and Kington. 45 mins from Hay Festival!

Tawny Owl Barn

Tawny Owl Barn is a 200-year-old, grade 2 listed, tastefully converted barn in the village of Leintwardine. A large garden is available for our guests which has a wildlife pond and waterfall and another barn with an open fire available for sitting around. Rooms are spacious, well furnished, and well-equipped. There is a large kitchen/diner and lounge plus two bedrooms with en-suites. A large lounge settee can also be used as a double bed. There are two pubs and shop within walking distance.

A private retreat in North Herefordshire. Cosy with all modern facilities, ideally suited to a couple looking for a retreat close to Ludlow and its wide range of entertainment and places to visit. Originally the servants quarters of an impressive historic house, the apartment has been expertly restored to its former Edwardian glory, complete with servants bells and a fully equipped retro kitchen. The apartment can sleep up to 4 in genuine Edwardian brass beds. Leominster is close to walking routes and surrounded by the gently rolling hills of North Herefordshire.
