Great host, great house, great location! This is a very private house that is not far from town, only 20 minutes from the ferry. The house is clean, well appointed and spacious. It’s right on the water which gives hours of enjoyable relaxing both day and night. Speaking of night, you haven’t seen a night sky like this, it’s really amazing! This home was the perfect temporary home base for me and my family as we explored southern Nova Scotia. The host is excellent at communicating clearly. My family of 4 was more than comfortable during our stay here. We’d definitely stay again! Thank you for a great stay!

I booked Bruno's place quickly one evening when we were looking for accommodation close to a wedding venue. I didn't pay a lot of attention to the details because we had a very short trip and proximity to the wedding was the biggest factor. So, we were stunned when we walked in and found a modern, fully equipped cottage with beautiful views. The sunrise was phenomenal through the glass front that extends from floor to ceiling. There was far more space than I expected - easily enough room for a large family with everything you would need for an extended vacation. I just wish we had more time to spend there!

We had a struggle with the mortgage company for a home that had purchased near Yarmouth, but this made the hassles easier to deal with and it was a great location to get out and meet our new neighbors

Spent a very enjoyable weekend at Bay Side Cottage, Silka is the perfect host very friendly, and was very responsive to our needs, would most definitely stay again and will recommend her place to others

I have stayed here about 5 times so far and it never disappoints! It just feels like comfort as soon as you walk through the door. The views are stunning, the hot tub is private, the living space is light and cozy. I was pleased to be here over the opening weekend for the food truck, fish and fries were so good! I look forward to my next stay!

Gorgeous property. Better than photos convey. Decor is very tasteful, bathroom large and beautiful shower. Everything was done thoughtfully and professionally. Hosts were very responsive and clear. We got some snow during our stay and they were on top of having everything shoveled. Stayed for Christmas while visiting family and couldn’t get over how cozy the place was. I felt like I was staying in the Nova Scotian version of Kate Winslet’s cottage from “the holiday”. Would be gorgeous in the summer too.
