Hicks Farm accommodation offers a unit that has a bedroom and living room with your own bathroom 15m away along the outside deck. You are sharing the property with our family, the pet sheep and the local kiwi. We are a 20min walk from the centre of Oban, with hills. Please consider this before booking, if you don't like walking, in town might be more suitable. Transfers are available with Aurora cabs, please contact them direct. If walking, backpacks are best and don't forget your rain jacket.

Ringaringa Beach Cottage, comfortable whole house

Very quiet location with a welcome to overseas and New Zealand visitors. Families welcome but parents are asked to remember that although the road has little traffic, the property is not fenced. We have the greatest sea views, plenty of land and pelagic birds to spot with many simple and more challenging walks available, very like New Zealand used to be. This Art Deco inspired home is a Bluff landmark. Built by the Arnett family in the 1940s, it is named "Poutama" after the Tītī Island where they went muttonbirding. The home has three bedrooms and an open plan lounge, dining-nook and kitchen. A two minute walk to a well-stocked dairy, it is a great base from which to enjoy Bluff or visit Stewart Island.
