Our stay at The Sink Shack was beyond incredible – it truly felt like stepping into a hidden paradise. From the moment we arrived, we were wrapped in peace, privacy, and pure nature. If you're looking to disconnect from the world and reconnect with what matters, this is the place. One of the biggest highlights for us was being able to bring our dogs along. They were in absolute heaven – roaming free, exploring the area, and enjoying every minute of it just as much as we did. The hikes nearby are honestly some of the best we’ve ever done – stunning views, untouched nature, and total solitude. We felt like we had the trails all to ourselves. The shack itself is a dream – beautifully designed, super comfortable, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. You can feel how much care has gone into making this space welcoming and warm This place was more than we expected in every way. We left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already planning our return. Beautiful little cabin in the middle of nowhere, extremely peaceful with amazing walks through the old river beds and mountains definitely will book again.

This place was absolutely magical - the treehouse feels whimsical and Harry Potterish and the setting is outstanding . Be aware that this is a water shortage area - take your own drinking water and towels to reduce your use of their water . Wonderful walks and all so peaceful - next time we will stay longer !

De loin la meilleure immersion dans l’âme sud africaine.

What a beautiful piece of heaven! It was a most delightful stay and Jackye was a super host - very friendly - provided us with loads of informative information on the surroundings, took us out on the quad motor to show us to Dragon Fruit orchards - provided sticks for walking and best of all gave us a couple of Dragon Fruit which were delicious! The home had everything we needed, a beautiful braai area under the tree with more than enough braai wood - the walks were just beautiful - and even fun walking in the rain. Thank you for a most delightful stay.

It was an incredible experience! The farm offers beautiful walking routes that allow you to connect with nature. Our host, Carine, was fantastic - warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the braai in the cave, which was a unique and memorable experience. The stay provided the perfect setting to unplug and relax. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated Carine's hospitality. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend it.

This spot far exceeded my expectations. It really is a hidden gem in a corner of paradise. The "camping" cabin and facilities were spick and span, the shower beautifully hot and the location unbeatable with a rock pool to swim in literally on your doorstep. The lapa where you prepare your meals has the basics of what you need for a remote camping experience and has been well thought out. Jackye is a friendly and very welcoming host and goes the extra mile to ensure you have an unforgettable stay. Perfect place if you are looking for a secluded, remote stay in a little corner of untouched wilderness with miles of walking and exploring. A high clearance vehicle definitely required for access to the cabin, but if you don't have one, the hosts will take you. Honestly one of the best getaways I have ever had - so good for the soul and my dog Skye loved every minute of it too. the only downside was that I couldn't stay longer.
