Elisabeth is een heel toegankelijke host, communiceert snel en prettig. Het huis is een fantastische plek, goede bedden, veel ruimte en rust. Echt een aanrader!

Our week end at Mickey’s was very nice. The house is very spacious and peaceful. We loved the big windows and the garden. We also enjoyed some trips to Amsterdam even if it is better to go by car rather than with public transport which are longer. The rooms and bathrooms were perfect (we were a group of 8 friends including 2 couples). Mickey was even available on during the week in case we needed some help or just to answer to our questions. There is a supermarket really close to the house (5 min by walk) which is also really helpful!

Super séjour! La maison est encore mieux en vrai que sur les photos. Elle est bien décorée, propre et bien équipée, on s’y sent comme chez soi. Il est possible de prendre le train pour Amsterdam qui est à 20min ce qui est très pratique. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter ! Merci !

wir konnten wunderbare ruhige Tage verbringen. Die Anleitungen haben super geklappt für die "Fähre" um zum Haus zu gelangen. Der Kontakt war stets schnell und informativ, wir fühlten uns gut aufgehoben.

Wir hatte eine herrliche Auszeit vom Alltag in Rogier’s Häuschen! Rogier hat uns sehr freundlich am Bootsteg empfangen und uns “Landratten” das Handling mit dem Boot und ein paar Besonderheiten im Haus geduldig erklärt. Wir haben alles sehr sauber und aufgeräumt vorgefunden und uns direkt super wohl gefühlt. Das Ferienhäuschen ist wirklich etwas Besonderes! Rogier hat es selbst gebaut und man merkt, wie viel Liebe und Leidenschaft in diesem Projekt steckt. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt dort nur empfehlen, vor allem auch für Familien mit älteren Kindern: Sonnenstunden im Garten und auf der Terrasse, das Schwimmen im See, die Anreise mit dem Boot oder die Kanufahrten haben uns sehr viel Freude gemacht!. Über attraktive Radwege gelangt man in das Zentrum von Utrecht und auch in der Umgebung haben wir schöne Touren gemacht. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: die Straße liegt näher am Haus als gedacht und manchmal trübt Verkehrslärm die Idylle in der Natur ein wenig. Wir sind trotzdem begeistert!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay with our 4 children. Merel was extremely responsive before and during our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. The house is about 25 minutes outside of Amsterdam which was perfect for us. The little town is lovely - really picturesque and some great restaurants and bars within 5-10 minutes walk. There was also a supermarket, coffee shop so you have everything you need. The house itself had lots of space and was very well set up for families - the children loved the hot tub! Thank you for a lovely stay!

I had an absolutely incredible stay! The hosts were amazing—thoughtful, kind, and always making sure everything was perfect. The home was spotless, comfortable, and so welcoming. The kitchen was a dream to use, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Every little detail showed how much care and attention they put into making guests feel at home. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience, beautiful modern house. Thank you for everything! 😊

Wat een ervaring wonen op het water! Overal water veel watervogels en de meest prachtige wolken! Het huis is lekker groot dus de kleinkinderen konden ook komen logeren 👍 Alles is aanwezig in de keuken veel pannen, borden en bestek. Breukelen is een gezellig plaatsje en de omgeving is ook erg mooi.

The first thing I have to say is Sophie and Pieter are clearly lovely people. We were late because of traffic but Sophie waited for us and gave a warm and very helpful welcome. Secondly, the apartment is a real home from home. The kitchen has all the equipment you need if you want to dine at home. Throughout the apartment everything was clean and functional as well as being well designed and attractive. Thirdly, the location is excellent. The tram runs regularly on the Overtoom and gets you right into the centre in 20 easy minutes. On the other side is the Vondelpark, which is a slice of real Amsterdam that many people would miss, which is a shame as it’s fantastic. The bar run by the brewery was a real find for us. Around you are a number of excellent places to eat and drink on both sides of the park and into the centre. Finally I am going to return to Sophie and Pieter - honestly you could not get better hosts. Thank you very much - we intend to return.

The location was great, walking distance to trains and trams to get to the heart of Amsterdam. Far enough away to be quiet for nights in. Nancy was very communicative even though she was on holiday. Easy parking if you drive in and plenty of space for 5, especially if someone doesn’t mind the couch. Would be great for 3 couples. Amazing showers 😁

Wonderful week long stay in this beautiful ground floor apartment. Was perfect for our family of three. The location could not be better as it is within easy walking distance to the museums (Rijks, Van Gogh, Moco, Stedelijk), outdoor market, bars and restaurants. Would whole heartedly recommend.

Un alojamiento de 10, toda una experiencia

Awesome location, comfortable bed. Hosts enjoy taking care of their place and guests. The check-in was in person and no self check-in option available but hosts were very accommodating and easy to get in touch with.

Alexander was very responsive before and throughout our stay in the studio apartment. Great location. He was very accommodating with his check-in and check-out. He and his wife gave a special little gift of cookies for my daughter who was celebrating a birthday trip. I highly recommend this place and Alexander as a host.

What a great stay! I had a last minute opportunity to head to Amsterdam to join my parents on vacation…their hotel was sold out, so I was on my own. I found this gem about a mile from City Center, super accessible by foot or tram to everything! Thank goodness Jorrit was there to greet me and help with my heavy suitcase…the stairs (2 flights) were SUPER narrow on the treads (seems to be the case everywhere in the city) and about as wide as my suitcase. But once upstairs, the place was exactly as described…plus a lovely welcome basket with Dutch treats! I was prepared for no AC, but there was a recent heatwave so it was hottt. But it cooled down and was beeezy with the windows open and fans on. Very safe neighborhood, and even a pub within 100 steps (but not noisy or rowdy). The kitchen was well stocked, so I saved on things like salt and pepper and EVOO and basics. Jorrit gave lots of GREAT recs on where to go & what to do. A super stay and I’d definitely rent here again! Thanks!

Zuerst haben uns Nanda und ihr Mann sehr freundlich begrüßt und uns dann die Unterkunft vorgestellt: eine sehr gepflegte und nett möblierte Wohnung, großzügiger Wohn- und Schlafraum, die zuerst eng wirkende Kombination von Küche und Bad war vollkommen ausreichend und es hat nichts gefehlt, sogar die beiden Balkone mit Morgen- und Abendsonne konnten wir trotz Anfang April genießen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an unsere Gastgeber!

Thomas's home was perfect for our family during our holiday. We are a famiy of 6 and it was plenty spacious, clean, quiet, and safe. It was nice to be a little outside Amsterdam. Abcoude is an absolutely charming town. The house was well-appointed, not cluttered, very clean, and very modern. Thomas was always responsive, helpful, and accomodating. We highly reccomend?

We had a fantastic stay at Joëlle’s house! We travelled with two children aged 6 and 2 who loved the play gym, trampoline and sand pit with digger! It really felt like a home away from home with kids as it had all the amenities you need: high chairs, kids crockery, toys etc. The house is stunning, so much so that people passing by stopped to ask us about it. You can swim in the river in front which our 6 year old loved. Joëlle was very responsive and checked in to see how we were. The location is really beautiful and quiet. We used the bikes with the house so didn’t need a car but it did mean we had to time buses and trains very carefully as the bus to the house is only every hour. I think if you want proper freedom then get a car but it’s not mandatory as you can travel in to Amsterdam/Utrecht in 1h/1.5hrs, which we did a few times. Weesp is great and has nice restaurants and you can hire a boat nearby which is worth it! We would love to go back again!

Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt bei Merel und Pieter! Wir haben 5 Nächte in ihrem wunderschönen Haus in sehr guter Lage in Abcoude (gleich gegenüber einer Gracht, nur wenige Gehminuten in die Ortsmitte) verbracht – unser erstes Mal in einem privaten Zuhause, das nicht speziell für Feriengäste) gedacht ist, sondern tatsächlich bewohnt wird. Es war eine einzigartige Erfahrung! Die Betten waren unglaublich bequem, wir haben traumhaft geschlafen. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, sogar mit Gitarren, Spiele, Musikboxen, Gewürze,... – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es war die perfekte Umgebung, um Weihnachten mit der Familie zu verbringen. Wir haben gemeinsam gespielt, entspannt, gekocht, Spaziergänge gemacht und einfach die gemütliche Atmosphäre genossen. Ein großes Dankeschön an Merle und Pieter für ihre Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We had the unit at end of the street, which made it private and peaceful. The unit was comfortable, good beds and in a very central location

We had a great time at Cecile’s home for our family’s first vacation to the Netherlands. Both the home and the town of Loenen aan de Vecht are beautiful. From the moment of booking to checking out Cecile was responsive, helpful, and friendly. She was also flexible and allowed us an early check in. We were celebrating one of my children’s birthday while visiting & she purchased a cake for us to have ready for our arrival as well as some treats - even had fresh eggs, cheese, and milk waiting for us. The house was clean and well organized with many amenities. The “house manual” provided had useful info about the house as well as great resources and recommendations for the town. We enjoyed biking around the village and visiting the bakery and several restaurants all within walking distance. Getting to and from Amsterdam and surrounding towns was quick and easy- Cecile also gave driver recommendations which was a very helpful resource. Great house/host! Hope to visit again!
