The cottage has a log burner and an open plan kitchen diner, with doors that open onto decking at the rear. There are 2 pubs in walking distance, a great play park and coastal walks to enjoy. We do not provide or allow car charging at the house. Public chargers are found in Montrose.

Open-plan Living Room/Dinette/Kitchenette, ONE Bedroom, Shower/Toilet. Pets very welcome. Sorry but not suitable for young children.

The 3rd bedroom/TV room on the 1st floor has a single bed. Its a short walk to all amenities; shops, bars, cafes, leisure facilities, restaurants, the castle and harbour. Small dogs welcome.

Idyllic Farmhouse in Stunning Deeside Location

Blackness Farmhouse is a traditional cottage still retaining many of its original features. Bathrooms and kitchen have been modernized, open fires replaced for wood burners and carpeting added to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage was our home while we converted the nearby barns into our new house. and although storage was tight for a busy family of 6, we loved our time living there and always felt it would make a perfect holiday home. We hope you enjoy your stay.
