Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Hiking trail to the mountain starts right outside. Fantastic view over Tromsø and the mountains. Direct bus from the airport and the city center, 800 meters to the grocery, pizzeria, shopping center and restaurants. Coffee, tea, salt, pepper and oil are available. Access to washing machine by arrangement.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Kjøkkenet har det du trenger for å tilberede og nyte måltider hjemme. Oppreide senger og håndklær. To garderobeskap. Nice apartment. central location, with a fantastic view over the Arctic Cathedral and Tromsoe , living room with a sofa bed, tv with apple tv, dining area, fully equip kitchen. Super fast wifi in the apartment. You can enjoy the midnight sun in summer or the Northern Lights in winter, sitting out on the terrace with a blanket. If you have a car (parking by arrangement) In winter times we recommend you to rent a car with 4 wheel drive, so you can drive up to the house.

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available.
