Get away from it all in a cosy shepherd’s hut amongst trees in a beautiful rural location. Hazels Hut has a comfortable double bed, storage below and a compact kitchen unit with double gas hob, sink and fridge, pots, pans crockery and cutlery. Keep warm with a wood-burner and ready supply of wood, or underfloor heating. Outside, there is a table for al-fresco dining. A newly built, heated, shower room is close by along a short path adjacent to the hut. Just 3 miles from Newent and various pubs.

It has a shower room with WC, a log burner, fitted bed, kitchen unit with mini fridge and inside dining table. "Hares Rest" shepherd hut is situated in a private location within a paddock with amazing rural views. Hares, red kites, barn swallows and deer are just some of the wild life you can see. Good pubs within various walking distance (3, 30 and 45 mins). Bowood House, adventure park, golf course and spa is 5 mins drive away. The train station is a 10 minute drive with easy access to Bath. We have horses so only very well behaved dogs are allowed by prior agreement and additional charge.

Included in your stay are Kayaks, Paddle Boards & Bikes so you can kayak to the pub or cycle in to Bath and create some great memories and fun photo opportunities. At the end of the day you can relax in the outdoor bath with the fire crackling overlooking the water (Large glass of wine in hand optional) The hut is fully equipped with everything you will need for a perfect stay.
