The accommodation was exactly as described, well equipped (clothes washing liquid, plenty of plates & glasses etc) The pool was just brilliant in the heat of the summer and the trees in the garden gave us plenty of natural shade. Aircon in the 2 double bedrooms was lovely at night too. The house is on a one way street so we parked at the bottom of the street on the main road as suggested by the owner which was so much more convenient. We can recommend visiting the beautiful new municipal swimming pool in town - €2.70 for adults with a great bar/cafe during the day. We also visited lake Iznajar to swim after looking round the village. There is a large Mercadona supermarket in town with underground car parking , open 9-9.30 every day except Sunday and another supermarket 3 minutes from the house - unsure of opening times! We had a fantastic week here in Rute. Our only issue was the management company not telling us that we needed to Whats App the owner to arrange our arrival time.

The Villa is extremely clean and well equipped with everything you need to enjoy a great holiday in this quiet region of Spain. Situated in a private corner of a residential street, the garden and outside spaces are the main attraction. There are nice shady areas with garden furniture, tables and chairs for eating as well as very comfortable sun beds with umbrellas if you want shade. The planting is pretty so it feels like a very relaxing space. There is a BBQ for outdoor cooking and a nice big seating area. Although the pool is a little smaller than it looks in the pictures it is crystal clear and a good temperature. The air con in the bedrooms works well and kept the rooms cool. We had a great holiday travelling around he area discovering some hidden gems.

Hemos pasado un gran fin de semana en familia en aquel lugar. Buenas vistas, estupenda barbacoa y piscina, y mucha intimidad para estar disfrutando, muy recomendable

A great spacious house that is a walkable distance from El Chorro, just outside the town. Has an amazing fireplace for the winter months and a pool for the summer. Private parking for 2-3 cars inside a gate. The host has lots of local climbing information on crags, weather and conditions. Beds are very comfortable!

We (a family of 4 adults) have just returned from a 9-night stay at Casa de Los Robles and had a fabulous time. The casa location and surrounding views are stunning. Due to it's remote location, you do need a car to get about. We had a busy itinerary with planned day trips to Granada, Cordoba, Ronda, Nerja and you can get to these locations very easily, with the furthest journey taking about 2.5 hours. The facilities at the casa are excellent - it was a bit too cold during our stay to use the pool, but I understand from David he is planning to have a heat pump installed shortly, which will make it much more welcoming! We took full advantage of the pool table and the putting green. All in all we had a great time, and Rafa is a terrific guy who is very helpful and will come at short notice to help with any issues you may have during the stay.

We spent almost three weeks at Casa Arco Iris with the whole family, and it was fantastic! The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views. It's surrounded by mountains and beautiful greenery — you can even find figs and lemons growing in the garden! The photos don't fully capture the atmosphere of the place. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable, and decorated in a beautiful style. It's really well-equipped, so you don't need to worry about the little everyday things. Walter and Suzanne were perfect hosts — friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. They gave off great vibes and shared some amazing recommendations of places worth visiting. The pool was an absolute highlight — we spent countless hours relaxing in the perfectly warm water, soaking in the nearby landscapes. Would love to come back! PS. Place is remote, so car is a necessity: ~10 min to the nearest shop.

Très belle villa bien équipée. Très bel emplacement qui se mérite ( chemin d'acces en terre), très calme ( pas de passage), une vue de fou sur la vallée des oliviers. Nous avons profité de la piscine, bienvenue par les chaudes journées d'aout et de la cuisine d'été très appréciable pour cuisiner et déjeuner à l'ombre . 2 belles chambres avec salle de bain privée dans l'espace principal, une chambre en bas elle aussi avec salle de bain privée idéal pour l'ado qui nous accompagnait. Nous n'avons pas eu besoin de mettre la climatisation car l'air qui circule la nuit ( 900 m d'altitude) ventile suffisamment les pièces . Je conseille cette location !

Our stay at Casa Belamonte was absolutely fantastic, the moment we saw the fabulous view, pool and garden we all felt so relaxed .The house is just amazing, spacious bedrooms, fantastic lounge , all done out in a traditional style but with modern amenities .We were a large family group which included baby, toddler and a 5 year old and the layout outside provided lovely pockets of shade and also quiet places just to relax when the children were in bed . Hilary was a fantastic Host, was very responsive to our additional requests and just generally made the whole booking process easy , we just felt she was so keen for us to enjoy our stay at their beautiful home .

Dear fellow travellers, Alan is a great hosts, warmly welcoming you. Guides you to the place (which is really a hidden gem) and he gives solid instructions about the house. Also Alan can tip you on walking and shopping. All works great, and is pretty idiot proof in use :-). Be aware that the swimming pool lamp is in the hallway, but that is the only remark I have on this excellent place and tastefully decorated house on the hill. Enjoy your stay.

We spent a wonderful week with family and friends there. We felt at home and enjoyed the garden, pool, boule and table tennis…The house is very cozy and well equipped and the staff (Kimberly & Co) super friendly and welcoming. We definitely can recommend the catering by the ladies from the town - delicious!!! Great experience and wonderful place to hang out with friends or family.

We loved this place! The pictures do not do this place justice, the view is absolutely unreal! So much stuff inside the villa too, the main bedroom is like a 5* suite in a hotel, amazing place. Communication with manager was fantastic and nothing was too much. She is amazing. The only things that i would comment about are the wasps, around lunchtime to 5pm, there must have been around 100ish wasps by the pool. They get thirsty, and we ended up getting stung around 6-7 times ( children too ). The manager tried to sort something out for us but they couldn't find the nest and it's a hard problem to sort. It is a real pain, which is such a shame and of course not a problem of the owner or manager, but something to be aware of. Outside space is fantastic, good sun beds, however the umbrellas need replacing as it gets hot in the summer and they are not in good condition. The town of Periana is lovely, great supermarket, bakers, little shops and also a wonderful gym which Hector owns and is only 10euro for 10 days, friendly people and a lovely town. You are around 30mins from the coast which for us was fine. The villa is so secluded which suited us well, kids could make as much noise by the pool as they wanted. I would recommend this villa to anyone wanting some tranquility and unreal views. The sunsets are amazing. Just be aware of the wasps, it did make the pool time unpleasant at times, but if this can somehow get sorted, it's the perfect place and we will return!

La ubicación y el entorno es muy bonito. La casa está estupenda; bien equipada, bien decorada, ordenada, la ropa de cama y toallas de buena calidad y muy limpias. Por la época del año y las lluvias no hemos podido disfrutar de los exteriores que merecen muchísimo la pena. Lourdes, ha estado pendiente de nosotros desde antes de nuestra llegada y Maria Corpus que cuida de la vivienda, ha sido muy amable y siempre dispuesta a ayudar. En general, volveremos porque entre otras cosas, tenemos que disfrutar de esa piscina tan increíble.

We’ve just had a fabulous week at this amazing villa. When we arrived our teenage girls said they felt like they were on the set of Love Island! Such a beautiful villa with stunning views. Lovely areas to sit and relax, very comfortable sun beds around the pool. We took advantage of Patsy’s paella evening which was just great, and had Alex come and give us massages. We loved having the dogs Luna and Cinta come and greet us each day. Patsy we can’t thank you enough for all your help and advice, such personal touches makes you and Bart the best hosts, we hope to see you again in the future, love from the Harris and Gates families

Lisa is an excellent host. She gave a lot of information beforehand and helped to book restaurants. The pool was in a very good condition. Kitchen well equipped.

La casa es preciosa, muy grande, lo mejor de todo es que cada habitación tiene su propio baño y con aire acondicionado. Todo super limpio. La piscina estupenda y muy limpia. Ha sido una estancia perfecta. Gema nos atendió muy amablemente, y siempre estaba en comunicación con nosotros.

PER - FECT - TA Una casa a la que no le falta detalle con vistas preciosas. Sitio agradable para una escapada con amigos y familiares. Además, todo estaba LIMPÍSIMO, cosa que valoramos mucho. El anfitrión inmejorable en todos los sentidos: nos dejó preparada la barbacoa, calefacción de leña, se prestó a comprarnos bebidas, muy flexible para hacer el check in y check out, etc. Volveremos!

The place was fantastic! All the amenities for the kids and adults. We really enjoyed the pool and playing pool. Everything was clean and a lot of space in the living room. Very close to the town and at 10 mins of caminito del Rey. We loved that the house and play area was fenced, with the kids was an extra rest. We had a small issue with the power being down for a storm and Antonio helped very quickly by phone and we had everything solved in 10 mins.

We absolutely loved our time in this fabulous casa. We enjoyed chilled family time, outdoor cooking and lots of fun in the pool in the most beautiful, peaceful and private setting with a stunning 360 view of the mountains. We took Nathalie’s advice and stocked up at the supermarket in Velez Malaga before heading up to the property which meant we didn’t have to leave for a few days - bliss! Thank you so much Nathalie and Stef for sharing your amazing casa with us.

It was a beautiful stay with two families. It is very easy to go into Ecija, Cordoba and Sevilla and also all supermarkets and restaurants are close by. The house was very nicely set up and everything was available to our needs. Obviously, it is close to the road so sometimes a bit noisy, good to know. When we needed help for the pool it was made available within 45 minutes and it was really well solved, which is an excellent service! Overall a very positive and highly recommended stay. Hemos estado como en casa. Todo impecable, y muy ordenado. Todas las estancias perfectamente equipadas, sobre todo la cocina. El acceso a la casa es algo complicado pero se llega bien. Una semana muy tranquila, agradable, perfecta para disfrutar en familia de todos los espacios, sobre todo de la piscina y sus atardeceres. Gracias, Lars. Repetiremos seguro!

Had a lovely holiday at Diego’s house and cannot fault it. Diego and his son are very friendly and helpful. The pool is perfect the kids loved it and Diego keeps it very clean. It is completely private and not overlooked. The house has very good size bedrooms and the beds are comfortable. I would love to stay again and would recommend to anyone.

We spent a very pleasant time at Sophie's house. The house is lovely, with the Spanish country atmosphere we were looking for for our 10 day stay with a family of 10. We really liked the ground floor layout of the house, so all the rooms and the spacious pool were within easy reach. Although we lived there during very high temperatures (about 37 degrees) we did not feel it much thanks to the thick walls, shaded areas and air conditioning, which is located in all rooms. I must mention the amazing terrace in front of the house from which there is a beautiful view of the neighboring town of Iznajar. In the evening at sunset we had dinner there ( we made Spanish paella with seafood) and felt like in an expensive restaurant with a million-dollar view :). The location of the house is favorable for exploring the surrounding towns ( we visited Cordoba, Granada, Malaga and Ronda). I wholeheartedly recommend Sofia's house. We could not have dreamed of a better stay.
