We had an absolutely wonderful family weekend in Victoria’s beautiful farmhouse. There was everything we needed and the kitchen was very well equipped. All the bedrooms were great and the garden is beautiful - the children loved the trampoline! We also loved having the cats around - very friendly! Thank you so much. We had a great time!

We stayed at the Summerhouse for about a week over the Easter holidays with our 1 and 6 year old. We loved it and would definitely return. Miranda made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay a great one. The shared games room and trampoline were big hits with our boys. It was so great to have an enclosed garden they could safely play in and be seen easily from indoors. We also liked puddle spotting after a rainy afternoon along the long lane that takes you onto the farm and walking along the edges of the field! Easy to get to without a car with the Katch bus service and lots to enjoy on the doorstep with Snspe Maltings a 10 min walk away. From there, we took a boat trip, walked with the RSPB and did a family music workshop as well as walking in and around the beautiful landscape.

Kate met us as we pulled up and was very friendly, and gave us some recommendations for pubs and food nearby. The house itself was so rustic and cosy. Everything was clean and tidy, and Kate even left some chocolate and other bits for us when we arrived. Location was spot on, walking distance from a couple of nice pubs and the area is so peaceful and quiet. Me and a couple of friends booked the airbnb as we was playing golf nearby over the bank holiday weekend, and this was absolutely ideal to come back to and spend the evenings. 100% Recommend, very nice place to stay with a lovely host!

We had a great, restful time here. Lovely layout, nice & big front room, peaceful surrounding. Lived having the chickens and ducks and seeing some beautiful birds. Hosts super responsive and really helpful. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely time staying in Horkesley Hall! A little oasis, with a lovely garden to explore. Polly shared some good recommendations and the Airbnb itself was enjoyable to spend time in.

Kirsty was such a lovely host, she had thought of all the little details, was there to great us and even made us some fresh bread! HIGHLY recommend this place and I will definitely be back!

We’ve been staying here for five years now - a demonstration of how lovely a place Little Lodge Cottage is to stay. Our daughter loves being able to help feed the animals. We often spend days playing in the garden and just relaxing - but there is also plenty to do around Suffolk and Norfolk, each time we visit we try something new (this year was ClipNCimb in Ipswich was a hit!). The cottage has everything we need and it’s a great place to stay.

A very peaceful location. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Pop was extremely kind and helpful.

We absolutely loved staying here. It was quiet, private and wonderful to have so much wildlife so close to the hut. The hot tub was incredible with lovely lights for when it got dark and we loved having our morning tea at the outdoor seating. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Anna’s place, it was close to our favourite costal destinations like Aldeburgh and Orford and lovely relaxing night away. Thank you!

What a wonderful stay we had at The Little Barn! According to our 9 years old daughter “ We are in heaven “ 😊 We booked Hannah’s place for a few days to escape the busy city. The barn looked exactly what we were looking for, peaceful surroundings, lots of outdoor space for the kids to play, animals and lovely walks in the countryside and nearby villages…and a very special dog Martha 😊 Hannah sent clear instructions about check in and how to get there. From the minute we arrived she made us very welcome and she was great with the kids and they felt so happy exploring and playing with Martha. The barn was beautiful, we spent time around the log burner playing board games in the evening and soaking the sun during the day in the garden. Our kids had lots of fun with Hannah’s friend Nicole and enjoyed their little yoga lesson. We had marshmallows around the fire pit and BBQs. The barn had everything we needed. We felt like visiting family! Thank you Hannah for making us feel at home!

Sadly we overstayed our stay by one night by mistake and me Nyree at 11:45pm to explain I had made an error and will settle the following day. we dtripped the beds, put the linen downstairs and the rubbish bags. Sadly we left a window open and left the annexe unlocked but given we left at 7 am and it's a locked gated property we did not think there was any risk. sadly and end of a short break spoilt by the hosts comments given we had only just got home to deal with the outstanding amount.

We had such a lovely stay, the property had everything we could have needed or wanted and more!!! We felt at home right away and loved how clean everything was. The homemade cake was such a lovely touch too! Thank you for such a great stay.

Beautiful cottage in a very peaceful and quiet location. The photos don’t do it justice. Really spacious with a fantastic kitchen and seating for socialising. Great enclosed private garden and patio. Even had a bbq (in April). Catherine was really helpful and responded very quickly to any enquiries.

A wonderful Easter break in Drover's cottage. Beautifully-appointed space, roomy and very peaceful, we loved the dog walks from the door & the friendly locals we met. The surrounding countryside is stunning and very accessible, but equally we enjoyed the proximity of Bury St Edmunds, probably one of the most dog-friendly places we've ever been to! We'll definitely return, thanks for a lovely time, Sara.

We had a perfect stay at this gorgeous place over Christmas. Zoe made everything very easy for us, communicating clearly ahead of time, making our check in and out flexible and responding quickly to messages. The place was spotless and so well laid out and thought through, with a great attention to detail. We were so comfortable.

We had such a great weekend stay here felt right at home and such a peaceful place to unwind and the small details in the cottage real make the difference

Lovely little cottage in a lovely area of the country. We were down to visit a friend and watch a local theatrical production but we also managed to do some walking in beautiful woodlands that were just a few minutes drive away. East Harling is a very pleasant walk away - but probably not at night - as part of the walk is on unlit roads with no pavements. Possibly a little unfairly, the location review was dropped a star for this. Mary was very friendly, responsive and provided comprehensive and accurate information. All-in-all it’s a lovely bright little cottage in a lovely tranquil location ….. I nearly forgot the hot tub - lovely touch - clean and a very welcome mode of relaxation.

We had such a perfect weekend at the Old Forge which is cosy and full of history. We followed two of the walks from the folder and it was lovely visiting some local villages and pubs. Marianne is kind and thoughtful and offered to help when our dog was stung by a bee on a walk. We had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing weekend and we felt very at home.

Amanda and Simon were warm and engaging hosts. If you love nature and enjoy outdoor activities the location of the stables in the surrounding countryside is perfect. There is such a variety of places to visit and local areas to explore that four days was not quite enough for us. So I'm looking forward to a return stay here soon. Michael

Absolutely amazing place. All the extra touches like the bottle of wine and criisps and Easter eggs were so thoughtful. Katherine and Andys communication was 5 star too. The ambiance was great. The log burner - Aga - dimmable lighting - comfy beds - toiletries etc erc made our stay extra special. Loved the cute chickens too! Would most definately recommend and would love to stay again.

This house is absolutely beautiful, so characterful and charming with the most gorgeous grounds and gardens. Jo was an amazing host and so helpful in advance of our trip, providing lots of tips and ideas for things to do in the area. We were 3 families with small children and she provided 2 travel cots and 3 high chairs - brilliant! We will definitely be coming back. The children fed the alpacas, ducks and chickens and played all weekend in the glorious garden.

Had a lovely stay at the weekend. was very clean and beautiful grounds. although in photos the sauna looks like its attached to the house, it isn't so that was a little disappointing, also the listing stated it was isolated, but you have a few neighbours next door and around. But we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a nice break. the playground was a good touch too, my daughter played on it constantly. host was lovely and helpful too.

Me and my wife stayed here for New Year’s Eve. We wanted. Change from the house party vibe, and stumbled across this lovely place. Annetta is a lovely host, very friendly and was happy to help if needed. We enjoyed the location, such a wonderful house surrounded by countryside. The jacuzzi was amazing! We looked at the stars while sipping champagne from our wedding a few months back. What more do you want! Would definitely recommend! Thanks for the hospitality Annetta! All the best Luke & Addie x
