We had a beautiful stay here 😊 lovely, peaceful surroundings and just what we wanted for a last minute getaway. The hut was slightly difficult to find in the dark but what a stunning place it is! Would definitely recommend this place to all 😁

A wonderful glamping/country farm site. We stayed in the Norfolk shepherds hut and it was perfect - spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could want. A well thought-out brochure to download onto your phone with all the information you could need for your stay. Complimentary fresh free range eggs! Just perfect.

What a lovely little hideaway retreat, everything we needed was there, very comfortable, clean and peaceful. A gorgeous view across the valley, if it had been a bit warmer we would have sat outside more, but very cosy inside the hut, and we can't control the weather! A thoughtful selection of breakfast ingredients was provided, and even a bottle of fizz (for the evening, not for breakfast) Main bed was very comfortable, we didn't try the smaller ones, though. Lovely picturesque villages nearby, with pubs to eat out, etc. Would definitely recommend

"Wow" what a find! Such a beautiful place and so peaceful. The Shepherds hut was even better than it looked ,in the pictures and very spacious considering. It was spotless inside and had everything you needed. I loved that we arrived to homemade cakes and goodies in the fridge. My son loved the animals and we were very lucky to meet Bob who kindly told my son about the animals and let him help feed some of them. Bob and Helen are excellent hosts, they go above and beyond from start to finish and nothing is to much trouble. We shall be back.

On the search for a weekend getaway from London with two of my friends, we found Alder at Fenlodge. It met our expectations and more. Neill and John are perfect hosts. Incredibly welcoming and generous, and with plenty of great recommendations of how to make the most of our short stay. They really did go above and beyond. It is beautifully landscaped, creating a feeling of privacy from the other cabins. The hut was as charming as it is in the photos, and had everything we could need. We opted in for the hamper, and so glad we did. The quality was outstanding with locally sourced produce and was more than enough for 3 adults over two breakfasts. We made the most of the idyllic surroundings by enjoying breakfasts outside in the sun and cooler evenings round the fire. They really have thought of every detail and we all can't wait to return. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Beautiful location overlooking fields and next to a small stream. High quality finish to accommodation, clean and beautifully presented. Within easy walking distance of village centre, attractions, cafes etc. Clare was on hand to show us around on arrival and was very helpful in suggesting local restaurants, walks and attractions. A very relaxing and enjoyable short break.

we came here for a complete escape. had no intentions of venturing out and as long as you pack enough food, you have no reason to leave. It's exactly as the pictures show. Actually it was bigger than we expected as we thought some of the photos may me "estate agent style" but there's plenty of room all round. Clean and tidy, everything you could ever need provided inside. the paddock is huge! and tucked away overlooking a working field, the dogs loved the freedom. I'm almost certain that we will be back again in the future.

Beautiful shepherd hut we had a great stay. Just like the photos, host emailed to check we had settled in all ok. Would recommend the huts to my friends and family and would definitely come back in the future. Thank you ☺️

Me and my girlfriend loved everything about our stay in the shepherd huts. Nice and cosy, the outside space with the hot tub was fantastic and was already preset to temperature not long after we arrived. Would highly recommend and will be staying again in the future

The hut was more than we could have hoped for. We wanted a weekend of countryside rest & recovery, and that’s exactly what we got. Incredibly peaceful, amazing location. The hut was impeccably clean, super comfy bed & it had all the amenities we needed! Sarah was quick to respond to messages and very friendly. Thank you very much x

We loved our Valentine's getaway to this cozy little Sheppard's hut. Although tricky to get going, we really enjoyed the hot tub and were lucky to have some snow with made everything even more magical. It's so calming and you feel entirely alone.

Hayley and Mark are lovely They were very helpful from the start of our stay . The cabin is surrounded by beautiful nature in a very private area. It’s the cutest little place has everything you need We absolutely loved our stay And we got to take the dog .

Clive and Suzanne are fantastic hosts. The shepherds hut was beautiful! It was wonderfully decorated and had everything you could possibly need. It actually looked even nicer than the photos. The setting is very private and picturesque. It was so quiet and peaceful, we had a couple of amazing nights sleep! Although the area is quiet and off the beaten track slightly, there were lots of attractions nearby which were easily accessible by car. I also think it would be great to bring bikes here, as the lanes were lovely and quiet. We had such a lovely time and I would say anyone considering booking to do so, you definitely will not regret it! Thanks for a wonderful stay! :)

Shepherds hut was perfect for two of us and the dog! Location very peaceful and we were made to feel right at home in the pub, where the food was superb and the welcome was warm. Particular thanks to Andy who was the perfect host. We will be back 👍👍

We absolutely loved staying here. It was quiet, private and wonderful to have so much wildlife so close to the hut. The hot tub was incredible with lovely lights for when it got dark and we loved having our morning tea at the outdoor seating. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Anna’s place, it was close to our favourite costal destinations like Aldeburgh and Orford and lovely relaxing night away. Thank you!

Once l booked the weekend away for my husband’s Anniversary surprise the information by text was welcoming and made me want to go there and then Jennifer responded to my questions immediately We we greeted by friends of Jennifer and Tim, who were so welcoming and showed us round the lodge, showing us how things worked, they had even given us Milk, fresh bread from local bakery, gorgeous chocolate cookies and tea, coffee, chocolate, pods how kind The lodge was home from home, bespoke furniture, amazing comfortable bed never slept so good 😊 We had our own towelling wraps for the jacuzzi, such a lovely touch the jacuzzi was just amazing right temperature clean and you could look up see the stars like magical We have never been somewhere so quiet amongst birds of all varieties we saw a woodpecker WOW The walks in the area are beautiful quiet a so many different trees 🌲 we did some tree hugging 🤗 the stress of life drained from us didn’t want to leave Thank you Jennifer we will re

This was my first stay in a pod. It was very comfortable. The shower is close by but not fun on a cold morning! Tea and coffee were left and cooking facilities fine. As I was walking light, I wasn't carrying food and it was a long walk to the nearest shop. Great view across the fields at the edge of the site. A good first experience! Thank you

Fantastic cabin in a beautiful location, proper luxury but so close to nature, waking up to the frozen lake in anticipation of a sauna was amazing! Sarah and Will were great hosts and so helpful with check in and ideas about the local area, many thanks!

Lovely location with accommodating host. Cabin has all the essentials and is cozy with the fire on. Barnaby was very responsive and helpful and was kind enough to provide a later checkout to enjoy the space!
