This spot far exceeded my expectations. It really is a hidden gem in a corner of paradise. The "camping" cabin and facilities were spick and span, the shower beautifully hot and the location unbeatable with a rock pool to swim in literally on your doorstep. The lapa where you prepare your meals has the basics of what you need for a remote camping experience and has been well thought out. Jackye is a friendly and very welcoming host and goes the extra mile to ensure you have an unforgettable stay. Perfect place if you are looking for a secluded, remote stay in a little corner of untouched wilderness with miles of walking and exploring. A high clearance vehicle definitely required for access to the cabin, but if you don't have one, the hosts will take you. Honestly one of the best getaways I have ever had - so good for the soul and my dog Skye loved every minute of it too. the only downside was that I couldn't stay longer.

Unglaubliche Unterkunft, liebevoll eingerichtet und makellos. Die Kommunikation mit Katie war perfekt, sie war jederzeit erreichbar und gab wertvolle Anweisungen. Über Katie konnten wir im Addo Elephant Nationalpark eine Safari buchen, sehr zu empfehlen. Wer in der Nähe ist, sollte unbedingt in dieser tollen Unterkunft übernachten. Einfach ein tolles Erlebnis!

Nous avons passés un bon séjour dans ce logement perdu au milieu d'un désert de cactus, le cadre était très beau et dépaysant. Attention cependant, la route pour y accéder (R400) est assez difficile d'accès (graviers, trous...), je vous recommande de venir avec une voiture relativement haute, au risque de mettre bien plus de temps que prévu pour accéder au logement

Such a special place, idyllic cabin in the reserve with giraffe and zebra passing by…. Totally switched off and relaxing stay! Very well equipped and comfortable stay. Will definitely be back !

Would have wanted to stay over longer, but could not. Tranquility, farm and nature absorb you all at once. The type of place for longer stays, if you want some alone-time, have you and your loved ones only for yourself or want to bathe in the twilight of transition between city-, old-fashioned farmstyle- and nature-living

Der Bauernhof von Mike und Nita ist wunderschön. Eine liebevolle Oase der Ruhe und des Friedens. Man ist wirklich Gast im Leben der Beiden und sie lassen einen daran teilhaben. Sie sind beide sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Eine Freude zwei Nächte bei ihnen gewesen zu sein. Das Frühstück ist übrigens auch wunderbar und die Lage ist für den Addo Elephantenpark ideal. Bettenqualität ist hervorragend.

Truly a hidden en gem! We only stayed for one night but wish it had been longer. The pool and aircons were very appreciated, it was a very warm day. We had a lovely braai outside, we spend as much time as possible outside sitting around the table. The stars are amazing out there! We got chased inside by a red roman spider which provided a lot of laughs! Later, during the night it started to rain and we got to sleep listening to a raindrop orchestra. We will be back, hopefully for a longer stay next time.

What a beautiful Karoo stay! Wish we did not just stop over. The house was incredibly comfortable and the surroundings of the peaceful Karoo veld amazing. Amy was also a super host even driving out to find us when our live location didn't upload. Can highly recommend and will definitely be back.
