We had a lovely time. Doreen and Doug were extremely responsive and helpful even when the power unexpectedly went out during a storm. We would definitely come back the next time we are in Sechelt.

Our one night stay @ Catherine’s was perfect for our time on the Island! It was a very welcoming & warm little oasis that offered us the amenities we needed, with all of the character that’s hoped for! After a rainy night return from a long day exploring, we were greeted by a pristinely clean cabin heated to help us relax a little more quickly! The shower was enjoyed for both water pressure, temp. & rainfall head, while Flower the chicken was a social delight! Highly recommend Catherine & her space(s) :)

James was a great host! Their location is walking distance from loads of trails and the coast. We visited on a rainy weekend and found the space to be super cozy to hang out and play games and music (we enjoyed the novelty of the records and playing the accordion and guitar). When the rain cleared we went for a beautiful long hike just outside their door. They were super warm and welcoming hosts and we loved getting to chat when we crossed paths but still felt a sense of total privacy in the suite. Would absolutely recommend the suite for anyone making a trip out to the sunshine coast. It was perfect for a winter getaway and I imagine even better in the summer with loads to do.

This was the perfect spot for me and my family to stay for a few days away in the new year. We were a full house of 5 and a dog but there was enough space, a lot of unique and wonderful amenities that made it extra special ( like the bathtub and sauna!) and it was a beautiful house. Clean and modern mixed with a cabin feel. We all loved it. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and it was the perfect place for us to unwind as a family after Christmas!

great overall. john was very friendly and caring. he came and helped us right way when Netflix did not work and then stayed and chatted with us. we had everything we needed. Just one thing for me would be a softer mattress or topper. great location and private. we enjoyed our stay.

Cindy’s place is great. Very comfortable and clean. Cindy is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Her dogs are gentle and were nice to be around.

This place was exactly as described. The kitchen is fantastic, the hottub was ready to go, and the bbq cooks nicely! It's a 2 min walk to the beach, though someone with mobility issues might have a bit of a hard time. The bed is super comfy and firm. Highly recommended!

This place was great. My girlfriend and I felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The place is a 10 minute drive to anything so it feels very central. The place had trivia and card games which was a nice surprise. In addition, the was very clean and we slept so well.

Great spot! We highly recommend staying at Sarah’s place. Sarah replied within minutes to our booking request and the place was exactly how described. Cute, clean, comfortable and close to the ferry.

This cabana is a fantastic getaway and step into the island life. We loved the thoughtfully designed tiny home and the unbeatable view from the deck. It was great just sitting outside and looking over the cove and seeing the skyline in the distance. We even saw seals and whales from the deck! Blair and Christina were very hospitable and quick to respond when we thought the fire pit was out of propane. Overall, this place is a great getaway and a very relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

This is the second time in less than six months we have been back to the carriage house. Kelly and her husband are kind, helpful, and the most gracious hosts. Their carriage house is beautiful, and they take great pride in the landscaping of the property. While we were there this time the flowers were in bloom and it was GORGEOUS! The beach is beautiful, and we had a sea lion swim right up to the shore. This is a peaceful get away, and the one I couldn't recommend more.

Margit was extremely friendly and responsive, providing us with good recommendations for places to visit in Bowen. Her place is very charming and has a gorgeous view from the balcony. Thank you for having us!

We had a great stay with Marianne. The views are breathtaking! There is a bit of a walk up, so might not be suitable for those with mobility challenges but was well worth the view at the top!

The suite is very bright, tidy, and clean. There’s many kitchen supplies, cooking oil!, and we found the bed and duvet very comfortable. There’s a bus that goes to gibsons nearby and only a 3 min drive. The place is in a very quiet neighborhood and surrounded by trees. Would recommend!

The Island Forest Retreat was so lovely. It was cozy and comfortable, in the trees-peaceful and so quiet. It had everything we needed for our stay and was a quick drive into Snug Harbour. The hosts stocked the kitchen with some breakfast supplies, which was so kind and Jennifer's warm treats in the morning were so good. I would totally recommend this place and would love to stay again.

Janice and Bill's place, the Hi N Dri, was absolutely gorgeous and cozy. It was so thoughtfully stocked and beautifully decorated, with attention to every detail. Everything was immaculate. We had a wonderfully relaxing family getaway there, visiting the local beach every evening to watch the sunset. Janice and Bill were responsive and attentive, even putting our wet beach shoes onto a drying shelf for us while we were out!

We had a wonderful stay at Renee’s Airbnb with our 2-year-old son. The location in Halfmoon Bay was perfect—close to beautiful beaches, scenic trails, and just a short drive to Sechelt. The home had every amenity we could possibly need, and it’s clear Renee goes above and beyond to make her guests feel right at home. She was incredibly responsive and provided great local recommendations that made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend her place to anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast!

Le logement est encore mieux que sur les photos. Le lit est très comfortable, la salle de bain très prorpre et la cuisine fonctionnelle. Que dire du balcon pour la vue et le bain de soleil! Le guide laissé par Maret fût très utile. Nous avons apprécié les recommandations pour les restaurants. Il y a une diversité de restaurants, boutiques et épicerie près. Le trajet pour visiter vancouver ou les parcs se fait facilement. J'ai aussi trouvé le quartier sécuritaire et la vue magnifique pour mon jogging matinale. Tout est pensé pour un séjour parfait. Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour ce magnifique séjour. Nous reviendrons définitivement à notre prochaine visite!

We had such a great time staying here! Tad gave us some excellent suggestions and the place was exactly as described. Can’t wait to come back, 10/10 experience!
