We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mrs. Dana’s aka Grannie’s House. Mrs. Dana was extremely helpful and responsive. She went over and beyond what even a super host has ever done in my opinion. I highly recommend this booking as the location is great, the parking is beyond adequate, it’s extremely spacious, and most importantly, Mrs. Dana is ALL THINGS GREAT. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you Mrs. Dana. Words cannot express our gratitude for you accommodating our stay while in the area.

All I can say is "Wow!" I've stayed in a lot of nice homes, but this was one of the best! This is a newly built home and the place was immaculate. The appliances were high-end, as was seemingly everything in this home, and it had one of the most well-appointed kitchens I've seen. Everything I needed was within arms reach! There were so many nice touches throughout that made me and my dogs feel so welcome. They had treats for pups and humans, they had a wide selection of k-cups for morning coffee on the covered patio, the bed was comfortable, and they had several board games to be enjoyed. Besides the beautiful home, the setting was serene and gave me a chance to relax after a very stressful day and my dogs enjoyed the fenced in back yard after hours in the car. I stayed for only one night and my only regret is that I didn't stay longer!

Great place with a stunning view. Very peaceful and lots to do. I rented cabin for end of year 2024-25 with my family and had a great time! We walked to the nearby creek & used the firepit, swings & did a lil exploring in the area. Wei was a great host, very attentive & communicative. I highly recommend this place.

Location is great especially if you are a fan of the Andy Griffith show. The courthouse is just around the corner. Walk there. The house is clean and everything is well prepared for your visit. The host communicated everything and responded to our inquiries quickly and effectively.

This is a beautifully refurbished cottage right off the Granite City Greenway & Ararat River. It definitely feels homey like your grandparents’ place if it was spotless with an updated kitchen! We spent a lovely morning outdoors and saw deer, groundhogs, songbirds, an great blue heron and wild turkeys just across the river. The beds are very comfortable too.

This was a great find in Elkin, NC. The location was convenient to everything downtown and within waling distance. The accommodations were very comfortable, plenty of room and clean. There were plenty of towels for 2 (we did have the 3 bedroom so that may also be why there were more than enough towels). Water temperature and pressure in shower was great. Rooftop sitting area was enjoyable and Elkin had more than expected for activities for when you want to get out and about. The host was very attentive and proactive with communication. Instructions to access building and room were clear and easy to understand. I'm definitely putting Elkin and the Carolina Experience on my list of places to return to. Our host was responsive and kind. The home was large, clean and comfortable. The sunroom and patio were very relaxing and overlooking a country club. Close to Mayberry Town attractions. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Good value. Location was very convenient. Cute unit for overnight travel. Helpful communication from host. Nice area with good food and shops. We enjoyed our stay and booked again in a week for an overnight stop during our trip back up north.

Be clear, this is a small apartment…. BUT, it is super cute, a block and a half from Main Street and just a generally great location. David was very helpful with suggestions of things to do and super responsive. We are building in the area and hopefully we will be able to stay here again on our next trip.

We stayed overnight on a long drive so we basically just used it for a place to sleep, but overall it was very clean and had everything we needed. We would stay again.

The place was open and cozy and on a quiet yet alive block of town. We are definitely coming back but have to know what brand are the bed sheets??

Great location! 5 minutes from RJ Reynolds Auditorium. In the middle of everything, but very peaceful. Comfortable bed and free of clutter! Host is very responsive & helpful! We will 100% rent again next year m!

Another great stay at this property! The host is wonderful-very responsive. The condo is clean, clutter free, and in a great location with walking trails nearby. Check in and out was very easy. Exactly as advertised, and I look forward to staying her again in the near future.

We would definitely stay here again. Bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. On a clear day we had a beautiful view of the mountains and the valley below. Quaint shopping in Fancy Gap. Check out the wings and a beverage at Creek Bottom Brewing in Galax. Short trip to Mt Airy NC. We left feeling refreshed.

Great space and location! It was great having two full bathrooms and the updated kitchen was a bonus for cooking/prepping meals. Highly recommend.

Sweet apartment, cute neighborhood! Loved the front porch! Easy drive to downtown, but also walkable if you’d like :-) super cozy inside- the perfect space for a sisters weekend!
