Just as advertised this lake house is very relaxing and chill. The hot tub was a huge benefit. Host provided sanitary supplies, coffee, and a smores kit! Host was responsive to questions and we would definitely book again. This stay was late april so the lake wasnt fully thawed yet, I can imagine its even better in the summer when the water is open!

If you want to be reminded what peaceful feels like, if you want to reminded how beautiful nature can be, and if your spirit needs to be renewed and refreshed then THIS is the spot to go. A truly unique and special retreat! We loved the swans and ducks, the cozy wood stove and stunning lake views. Every detail was perfect, and we definitely will return.

My husband stayed at Jim’s property for three nights and there are not enough great things I can say about it. The cabin is beautiful and we felt right at home. Jim greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us the cabin and the property. The hot tub was easy to use and so nice to hang out in. We had a lovely evening hanging out with Jim and Teresa one night too. Fishing from the dock was fun too and there are a bunch of ways to get on the water if you would like too. The place was clean and clearly very loved. Overall this is a beautiful property and our time here was just perfect. Definitely recommend!

This space was absolutely incredible, felt so at peace, amazing host, who is so accommodating and responsive and such a beautiful space that has everything you’ll need for a perfect stay, one of my favorite places a amazing find! Everything you’d want in a airbnb!

This was the perfect little getaway for my husband and I’s first wedding anniversary. It was peaceful and secluded. We were close enough to town that if we wanted to go out we could have but with all of the kitchen supplies we cooked every last meal. The kitchen was by far our favorite space (though the patio and wood-fired hot tub were a close second). And as two ex-baristas the espresso machine was a great bonus. Michelle was so responsive and helpful! When we did have questions we did not have to wait long for a response. We would definitely stay here again and you should too!

We loved this cabin. Everything was perfect about our stay. Joe was an amazing host and we felt right at home staying here. Highly recommend staying at one of Joe's properties. We loved that is was outside the City (Anchorage) but also very close to local stores and restaurants. It was an amazing stay and a beautiful area. We hope to make a return visit in the future!

All the amenities of home in the seclusion of Alaska, just 15 minutes off the well-beaten path! This place was just as lovely as the pictures show, if not better. We enjoyed the hot tub each night after long days exploring the lake and surrounding areas. The waterfowl and wildlife were unmatched. The WiFi was even better than back home. All facilities were immaculately maintained and well cared for and you can tell the folks that care for this cabin take a lot of pride in it. Please note: This cabin is truly off the well-beaten path. The last 10-15 minutes to the cabin include a mix of gravel roads and one ways. Jennifer went above and beyond in being communicative and transparent with us about the location and accessibility of this cabin and we knew what we were getting into. We were thrilled to stay in such a tranquil place where we saw only one car go by in 3 days! We will definitely be back!

What a perfect affordable dry cabin that had everything you need for a perfectly comfortable stay. We had a wonderful time riding our quads k to town. Falling asleep to the sound of the creek allowed us to unplug and spend some quality time together. We’ll be back in the winter with our snow machines, thank you.

Came down for the Oosik (iykyk!) and Larry's place was the perfect place to stay. Just outside of town in a very peaceful, private, and relaxing setting. Larry and Danielle were great hosts ready to lend a hand and share tips and recommendations as needed. The space of course was amazing and the the house perfectly matched the description with a great kitchen and wonderful wood stove. If you're a local or a tourist you will find Larry's place to suit all of your needs in talkeetna. I would (and hopefully will) stay here again!

We loved our stay at Kelli’s accommodation! It was easy to find and Kelli comunicated with us really fast and was always helpful. Kelli’s husband gave us so many usefull tips and recommendations and fed us delitious breakfast. Cabin was clean and cozy and heating worked perfectly. Would recommend and come again.

Perfect Getaway - Went fishing near the cabin. Beautiful sunrise. Tranquil and Breathtaking. I saw an Eagle perched in the tree. Surreal and amazing. Read a book. Cozy and cool.

The Spruce Cabin was wonderful! It was conveniently located just a short drive off of the Talkeetna spur and was very easy to find. Check-in was easy and the cabin was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. The location was private and quiet, yet was less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Talkeetna. The cabin was warm and cozy despite near-zero temps and snow. Check out was easy and David graciously allowed us a late checkout so we could attend a local sled dog kennel tour and dog sled experience. His hospitality and kindness were greatly appreciated and it made for a truly memorable stay!

Our stay at the cabin was great! It was so comfortable and had everything you needed. The views were amazing! The highlight of the trip was seeing the Northern Lights from the decks! Incredible! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend the cabin to others!

Paid attention to the back yard but didn't see a moose come thru. Plenty of droppings so they are there! Comfortable stay in all ways. I didn't find anything lacking. Very clean. Would return again. Thank you!

The cozy fire in the living room was the perfect touch for a chilly evening, and we loved sipping on the best almond milk lattes we've ever had. Our visit to Talkeetna was unforgettable. We had a blast exploring the town, viewing Denali, enjoying delicious pizza, playing pinball at the local arcade, and even getting the chance to meet the mayor! Thrift shopping in town was also a highlight, and we found some amazing treasures to take home with us. This trip was extra special for me as I got to enjoy it with my son-shine.
