Very easy communication and check-in. Beautifully decorated space with everything you need, even a "portable" aircon. Clean and very tidy - nside as well as outside the place. Secure parking in front of the Log Cabin.

Centrally located in the heart of Sutherland. Very big house with lof ot bedroom, comfy living room, and bathroom with geyser provided. The host gave us many tips for road planning, restaurant and place to visit. The place also nearby to Sterland Stargazing and SALT

Parecía tener 100 años, ¡pero estaba muy bien cuidado! ¡Hermosos pisos de madera dura! ¡Hermosas camas cómodas y dormitorios con calentadores de cama y muchas mantas adicionales! Puedo imaginarme a las familias que vivieron en este hermoso espacio a lo largo del siglo pasado. ¡Nos conocimos cuando llegamos y nos hicieron sentir como si fuera nuestro hogar! ¡Una casa muy especial!

Peaceful and private spot with plenty of space. Beautiful and safe surroundings, perfect for nature lovers and those who like to be away from towns/cities. The house is very spacious and was spotless when we arrived and we appreciated the fast wifi and dstv.

Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely stunning! The farm environment was so peaceful and picturesque, a true escape from the everyday. We especially loved the lookout point at the escarpment – the views were breathtaking. And the star gazing at night? Simply amazing! We felt so free and relaxed during our time here. It's a truly special place that we highly recommend."

We had a great evening at the Artist Cottage. It was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The weather was disappointing and we didn’t get to see any stars but the cottage was cosy and warm throughout and we enjoyed our stay.

Writing on behalf of Carla: Alene was a very responsive and helpful host, sending plenty of additional, helpful information ahead of check-in. The accommodation was comfortable and thoughtfully equipped—we really appreciated the electric blankets in chilly Sutherland temperatures! The cottage would be a star-gazer’s dream, being on a farm 21km outside of Sutherland. Although the dirt roads leading there had recently been graded, it’s worth bearing in mind that they are unlit and prone to quickly becoming heavily muddy for a sedan car to navigate in rain.
