Outside you’ll be greeted by sweeping views of the surrounding farmland and mountain views with cows as your neighbours. The river flows nearby, offering opportunities for fishing or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll along its banks. We warmly welcome pets.

My place is close to the breathtaking De Hoop Nature Reserve's white beaches, travelers hotspot Malagas with the pont, bush pub and boathouse restaurant. It's the perfect location to stay for a week and enjoy everything the area of Swellendam & Bredasdorp has on offer. You’ll love Die Blouhuis because of the uniqueness of staying in a old-styled farm house. It is remote and therefor very peaceful, private and safe - perfect retreat for couples, solo adventurers and families, especially kids.

Uninterrupted views and private access to the Duivenhoks river. 3 1/2 hrs drive from Cape Town on route to the Garden Route. The property is set on a ridge of coastal forest overlooking the Duiwenhoks river, 6 km upriver from San Sebastian Bay. The sleepy hamlet of Vermaaklikheid is a hidden treasure and holiday destination.

The Granadilla

The Granadilla, a snug flatlet close to town center has its own private garden and nestled at the back of the main house. It's far away from the street, giving you privacy. The bedroom has a large double bed with en-suite and opens directly onto the pretty garden, so you can hear those early-morning birds. A stretcher for a child can be provided on request The main living room has a well equipped kitchenette and dining table and chairs. There's shared, on-premises, behind-gate parking.

The Old Oke Riverhouse

Come and stay in the first container home in Malgas! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Rolling lawn and river access, use one of our stand up paddle boards or the Kayak and enjoy the river directly from our jetty. A brand new entertainment section that leads off the outside decking which has comfy chairs, a big braai and separate fire pit is also now available at The Old Oke Riverhouse along with a jetty which has padding to protect your boat. Located in a quiet part of Barrydale with easy walking access to restaurants and shops. This unique dwelling sits un the heart of the village and yet offers serenity and quiet. It has a wonderful view over the garden and village onto the Langeberg mountains. Compact yet spacious. King size bed or twin beds option. And a walk in shower. The kitchen has an induction 2 plate and microwave. And the option to have hands on cooking classes for The Kitchen Couple by Michelle Berry who owned the well known Mez Karoo Kitchen is also an option!
