Nice place to stay with plenty to see around! I worked remotely here and enjoyed the kitties daily visits on the back porch! In unit laundry was wonderful and having all the appliances I needed- kettle, microwave! Thanks for the great stay!

Great location that’s outside the hustle of downtown Reykjavik. Sweet neighborhood and extremely well-kept home with beautiful backyard. Highly recommend.

Great place with lovely views

Burma’s beautiful home is ideal for anyone who wants two bathrooms (hard to find in Iceland) and plenty of space. It’s in a quaint small town very close to the Golden Circle and not far from Selfoss, which has more substantial amenities. Easy drive to Gullfoss and Geysir, and a small grocery is within walking distance of the house. The views from the sunroom are beautiful. The kitchen is modern, functional, and spacious. The outdoor area, including the hot tub, is wonderful in the evening. The nearby restaurants, including those in Reykholt, are wonderful! We highly recommend this place for people who want extra space and don’t want to stay in the busy capital city. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed here for our last night in Iceland to get to our flight the next day. Sunna's place is clean, neat, and cozy stay for all your short-term Reykjavik needs. Also, the neighborhood was really nice, peaceful and walkable. Overall, we had a great stay here!

Highly recommend this place. Very close to city centre but is completely peaceful with lake and mountain views. check in super flexible with the lock box. The place was tocked with everything you may need , so if you forget something , chances are it will be there. Amazing coffee machine. lovely to have a separate enclosed porch, separate living and sleeping area. there is also a small outdoor deck with chairs. 100% would stay again.

Great place for a family with small kids. Spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. Kids enjoyed the trampoline and other toys. Host was flexible with check in and efficient/accommodating even though previous guests checked out a bit late.

Great location outside of the city where you’re not too far of a drive from the center. Lots around thats walkable and it was nice to be a bit out of the crowds. Very clean place, easy to find and park, hassle free check in and out!

Gudbjartur's home was lovely and he was very responsive everything we reached out! He even let us check in early from our red eye flight the night before! His home was clean and the location was excellent. close to Reykjavik but on the outskirts to leave early to see sights to the south. All in all, a great stay!

Sara’s place felt at home. We were comfortable. With 5 of us, 2 living spaces really helped. We are able to have our own spaces within the house. A relatively new home, fast internet and while it’s was super freezing out there, we were snug as a bug! Would happily return. Great communication too. 👍🏼

I recently stayed at this fantastic Airbnb. The location was ideal, just a short drive from the city center, offering easy access to local shops and restaurants. The vibrant neighborhood was peaceful, making us feel right at home. The property itself was a standout, featuring impressive amenities. The fully equipped kitchen made meal prep a joy, with modern appliances and ample cookware at our disposal. The stylish living space, complete with a cozy couch and high-quality entertainment system, was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Fast Wi-Fi ensured we stayed connected when needed. The host was incredibly responsive, providing excellent recommendations for local dining and attractions.

This home is beautiful, and the host is very responsive. The house has everything you need for a lovely stay. It is easy to travel towards Keflavik, Vik, or Reykjavík from the home. We were able to fit nine people comfortably.

Clean and comfortable home was just right for some recuperation on a rainy day with plenty of space for my family of four. The location was great to access the golden circle and south coast destinations once the weather cleared up. Communication was great and both check in and check out was a breeze. The deck feels very private. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and appliances. Location is very close to grocery stores for self-catering and there are restaurants nearby if you would rather not cook.

We had 10 days in Iceland. We planned many day trips for different sights. But we wanted to be close to but not IN Reykjavik. This location was perfect. The house was great! Beautiful sun/living room, nice kitchen and was a nice quiet location.

We had a lovely stay. Harpa’s home is beautiful and it comfortably accommodated the five of us. They were very responsive and were available to give us the run down in person. Along with a grill they also have a pizza oven that we used to make a delicious dinner one night :)

Very responsive host. It felt like home and everything was clean and as described. Dagny went above and beyond with communication and helped a lot while stores were closed for holidays. House is located in a quite neighborhood and was easy to get to. This location for perfect to visit various attractions and day trips. Thank you for making Iceland trip a memorable one.

Awesome place on the edge on the greater Reykjavik area! Easy in to Reykjavik proper, easy out to Icelandic natural landscapes! Very close to Sky Lagoon if that’s your kinda thing, and plenty of supermarket access and restaurants nearby. Overall very nice rental, would rent again! No freezer though, so don’t buy any frozen food for your stay :)

Lovely house and great hosts, what more could you want? Communication was mostly with Andri who was very helpful and responded quickly. The house was fantastic for us (family of 5) and in a great location to either go into town or out to see other parts of Iceland. I would definitely recommend to others.

A beautiful home near Reykjavik (10 min drive) & conveniently located near highways for easy travel. Extremely clean and comfortable, amenities as described, amazing back porch and hot tub — felt right at home! Guðjón and his family were incredible hosts and made our first trip to Iceland a VERY special one! Shout out to Tommy & Tia, the house cats — we fell in love! Thank you again for everything; we cannot wait to return!
