Fantastic location and a beautiful house. Carole’s instructions were excellent and apart from the parking being quite a squeeze, the rest of the property was wonderful. We enjoyed lovely walks around the house, fish and chips on the beach and a lovely drink in The Cove pub. We took a boat from Portland Marina to Weymouth on one of our trips and this was well worth it. So much to do nearby and the house itself was a lovely home from home. We highly recommend.

We stayed at William’s place as a family of 11 adults with 3 children. William was very quick to respond to queries and gave clear instructions for how to get to the property and how to check in. We had plenty of space for everyone at the house and the kitchen was well stocked with kitchen ware. The kids enjoyed the large jacuzzi in one of the en-suites and the annex was also comfortable. Location was good. We were very close to the New Forest National Park and 20 mins drive to Bournemouth. Only thing we didn’t enjoy so much was the driveway off from the main road to get to the house which was just a dirt track with lots of potholes. We had a great stay and would be happy to come again.

Absolutely beautiful home. Everything has been thought of. Incredible location. Great amenities, well stocked, decor is modern & clean. Beds very comfortable. Secure garden ideal for kids and dog. House has everything you need. Great access to beach, quay, parks, dog walks. Lovely restaurants and takeaways close by. Would absolutely return in the future. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful property, Gemma is a great host, and we had a wonderful few days away for my wife's 40th. There are lots of deer at the back of the house who regularly came to visit us, which was pretty magical for our 16 month year old daughter. Would definitely stay again :) Some things to note for other guests: The hot tub is a LOT of work if you're filling it up from scratch with cold water as we did - it took about 6 hours of putting logs in every 30 mins to get up to the required temperature, so be prepared to invest time in it if you want to get in! The property is actually semi-detached, which you can't tell from the photos, and there is another house close by on the other side, but that didn't impact us at all.

Wow, what a fantastic place to stay. We were a family group of 14. Aged from 2yrs -90yrs, and the accommodation suited everyone. The description and photos of property were exactly as stated. Everything was clean and in very good condition. The hot tub was amazing and hot! Plenty of games and equipment in the garden for the children. The kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery glasses, pots pans and utensils. Coffee, tea, sugar, condiments, washing capsules, dish washer tablets, bin bags were all provided. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms clean. We did visit the beach about 10-15min away but we didn’t really need to leave the property. The host was friendly and responded to requests. We will def be back!!

We really enjoyed our stay over Christmas. The house was beautifully decorated and very accommodating for our family of 10. Lesley was a very attentive host and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Lesley and John.

Comfort Hill was the perfect spot to celebrate my 35th birthday with my family of 8 - including a baby, an infant, and a dog! The villa has chill vibes, plenty of space, and the owners were super friendly and helpful. Ideal for a big family getaway.

This house is gorgeous, with fantastic views. Beautifully furnished, but homely - it didn't make you too scared to touch anything. 8 of us, 2 generations of family, and 2 dogs enjoyed a lovely weekend stay here. Jenny is a great host. She was flexible with check-in time, and we were greeted with a lovely welcome basket of goodies left for us on the kitchen table. The downstairs bedroom (and utility area) was a great space as we could pop the dog crates in the utility so they were safe and contained when we were out, and we were close to them overnight. The property was well equipped, including a cupboard of games, we got quite competitive over 'Where in the world' 🤣 The house information folder had everything in that you needed to know. Its a property we would very happily stay in again.

Just had a wonderful weekend staying here for my 50th birthday. It was more than what we expected. Photos don’t do the size of the rooms justice. So many things for the kids (and adults) to play with. The cup cakes and bottles of fizz was a lovely welcome. Sonia was a brilliant host and we would definitely come back.

This was everything we could have wished for, for a family holiday. Fantastic amenities, including a downstairs bedroom for my wife, who has mobility issues, with a great en suit. The other bedrooms were fantastic as well, all with the best mattresses, pillows and bedding we've ever had at any airbnb. The location was quiet and perfect for trips to the New Forest and beaches near by. We had a great time and will definitely book again.

Our stay at Katy’s house was outstanding. From first booking Katy was very friendly and helpful with advice on places to visit and eat. She accommodated our requests in an efficient and understanding manner. The house was extremely spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable, particularly the beds! The children loved discovering the playroom with its toys and games. The giraffe became a family pet to our granddaughter. We had a sunny stay so the large garden was a welcome extension to our outdoor fun. None of us wanted to leave. We hope to go back one day and share this discovery with friends.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer schönen Lage mit einfachem Zugang zum Strand. Der offene Küchen- und Wohnbereich war hervorragend für eine große Gruppe, so dass wir den Abend zusammen verbringen konnten, während wir das Essen vorbereiteten. Laura war auch ein ausgezeichneter Gastgeber - nicht zu viel, aber auch verfügbar, wenn wir etwas brauchten. Ich würde dieses Haus jedem empfehlen, der einen schönen hundefreundlichen Urlaub sucht - es regnete das ganze Wochenende, an dem wir dort waren, aber wir hatten trotzdem eine tolle Zeit!

Great stay in a beautifully restored old building with big comfy beds. 5 minutes walk from the beach and a pub serving delicious food (worth booking ahead). Very friendly volunteers at the nearby DD centre/war museum, well worth a visit to see the history of the Isle of Portland and fun for the children, they get to climb inside a tank!

The house was stunning and perfect for our family getaway with a lovely communal open plan space but also private space in the bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms and showers which was a huge bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were greeted on arrival by the host. We all had a wonderful stay.

It was lovely to bring my friends to the area to celebrate my mums birthday at a local pub. Perfect for what we needed last weekend. Thanks again

An absolutely beautiful break, Sibylle and mark are very welcoming and are always around should you need anything, Sibylle is especially responsive to messages and within anytime of asking for something she will pop along with it, it’s fantastic to stay at a family run establishment like this ! Rose cottage has had so much thought and care put into it, and it makes your visit even more enjoyable It has everything you could need, making it ideal for families or group bookings It is like a smaller version of the cabin in daddy’s home 2 ! Absolutely beautiful! It is Very spacious and has every amenity you could need, we spent the early evening in the hot tub then cozied up inside with a beautiful fire in the evening There is plenty of room, and the kitchen is extremely well equipped we will absolutely be making this one of our regular get aways ! Thank you guys for such a wonderful break X

Lovely spacious house, exactly as described. Myself, kids and husband along with my sisters and their families all stayed here for 3 nights and had a lovely time. The house is beautiful with plenty of room for us all. The house had everything that we needed along with a games room which was great fun for the whole family. We didn’t meet the host but he was very responsive and friendly and got back to any questions we had promptly. The house was fairly pricey in my opinion however we have no complaints at all and have said we would hire here again.

Exceeded our expectations. Beautiful Xmas decor. Photos do not do it justice. Very well equipped. Very thoughtful host we had everything we needed abd more. Pool towels. Great games room. Amazingly equipped kitchen with 2 dishwashers. Ninja air fryer. Plenty of fridges for food / drinks. Loved the separate drinks kitchen. The pool and sauna were lovely. The living room with the fire place was so so cosy. Would love to return again. We had taken so many things which were already provided.

The accommodation was spotlessly clean beautifully decorated, with luxuriously comfortable beds to sleep in, large fluffy thick towels. Kitchen equipment had everything Rhian’s accommodation is pure luxury.

8 of us (and a toddler) has a wonderful, comfortable stay. The facilities are amazing with loads of different fun, family friendly things to do.

A really comfortable relaxing place to stay with all the family.Such a perfect spot for visiting lots of key spots plus a beautiful walking area. Lot’s of great pubs and restaurants too. Seeing the wild deer and ponies was such a joy.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Nina’s house in Southbourne, and we can't recommend it enough! The house itself was fantastic—spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for our large group. The location was ideal, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed using the facilities at the house, which added to our overall experience. Whether it was soaking in the hot tub or cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, everything was just right for our getaway. Nina, our host, was exceptional. She was responsive, polite, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. Her attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. Overall, this was the perfect getaway, and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Nina, for being such a wonderful host!
