We stayed here during our time in Scandinavia and it was an absolute highlight of the trip. Ulrica was very friendly, warm, and welcoming, which was so lovely after a day of traveling. The space itself is gorgeous, peaceful, and private. Waking up to swans swimming just outside the window was a wonderful way to start the day. While staying here, my husband and I kept saying that we couldn’t believe where we were - it was all just so beautiful and idyllic. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the Stockholm area & take advantage of the additional spa/wood-fired sauna offering! They were a treat to end the day with. Thank you, Ulrica for your hospitality and for sharing such a special place!! - Insight for anyone traveling without a car: the public transit was easy to use to and from Stockholm. The walk to the bus stop is a bit hilly so take that into consideration with luggage :) We did use an Uber once after a long day wandering in Stockholm and it was about 18€.

I received a very warm reception from Anna and her partner Mikeal. The house is so cozy and beautiful. I loved that she also dropped a paper with Ferry connections and different places one could visit and great restaurants near the ferry station. I enjoyed using the ferry to the city. Walking distance from her home to the ferry station takes me about 10- 12minutes. I enjoyed every bit of my stay and would come back again. I recommend her place.

Vi hade en magisk vistelse i Sjöboden! Det fantastiska läget, det smakfullt inredda huset med bastu och alla bekvämligheter, samt de väldigt trevliga grannarna, gjorde vår vistelse minnesvärd. Restaurangen som ligger ett stenkast bort bjuder på fantastisk mat, dryck och service. Jonas svarar snabbt på frågor och är väldigt hjälpsam, och han gav oss dessutom bra tips på vad man kan göra i området. Verkligen ett smultronställe – vi längtar redan tillbaka!

Dit was de eerste keer dat ik Airbnb gebruikte. Dit was een hele fijne ervaring. ik werd fijn ontvangen en kreeg veel leuke tips en dingen die ik kon doen in de omgeving. ondanks dat ik bijna alle dagen weg was en alleen terugkwam savonds om te douchen en te slapen, voelde ik mij erg fijn. Na een lange dag wandelen en rondlopen kom je terug in een fijne en vooral veilige omgeving. Daarnaast zijn Anna en Micheal gewoon hele fijne personen. De kleine dingetjes zoals vragen hoe je dag was en oprecht geinteresseerd zijn maakt het leuk. Als je van wandelen houdt en ontdekken zou ik het zeker aanraden hier, in plaats van midden in de stad. het is 15 minuten lopen naar de ferry en dat is al een leuk begin. bedankt nogmaals voor de fijne en veilige eerste ervaring 😇

Buiten de drukte van de stad, maar met goede ferry en busverbindingen. Nackastrand is een prachtige plek om in Stockholm te verblijven en op het water is een extra dimensie. Via een mooie promenade vlak bij diverse restaurants en terrassen bij Nacka Strand. Vandaaruit ook de ferry naar de stad. Mooie watervilla waar je een duik vanaf het terras in zee kan nemen. De eigenaren zijn makkelijk in het leggen van contact en erg vriendelijk.

Flotte omgivelser!

Starting with the upsides: 1. The sunset view was spectacular and the area was calm as there were no other guests in the nearby cabins. 2. The host was very responsive and friendly. 3. The place was clean and the grill was a great addition. 4. The lake water was very clean for swimming. I would definitely love to go back here. There are a few things that need to be pointed out to avoid any surprises though: 1. The path to the cabin is quite a hike. I suggest traveling light and wearing hiking shoes. 2. There are other cabins close to each other, and if there were other guests at the time of our stay, I wouldn’t have given it 5 stars because of the lack of remoteness and privacy. People usually go to these places for the quiet and peacefulness, having a bunch of strangers around isn’t my ideal nature getaway. 3. The cabin is quite small (around 9 sqm). 4. The toilet is separated from the rest of the cabin with a half-curtain. No doors. However its position makes it smw private.

Supermysigt boendet på sjön! Roligt med tillgång till båt. Vi hade ett härligt dygn i stugan och saknade ingenting.
