Enjoy a nostalgic experience at this centrally located home that was built in 1954. My wife and I have furnished it with a touch of modern mid century charm. There is ample parking in front of the house and we are across the street from Hy-Vee grocery. At the opposite end of the house in what was the original garage is my one chair salon called Headlines. The Vernon Street Guest House - Suite 2

Built in 1900 and renovated in 2022, Suite 2 shows little signs of the once quirky old space. Completely private, with all the amenities, it boasts a spacious bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a desk for workspace, and a laundry room. While you're here, we hope you are able to relax and enjoy the well lit deck along with a cup of freshly roasted coffee, which we are happy to have provided.

The Red Front Suite occupies the entire 1575 sqft. second floor above The Red Front restaurant. Stay together with your large group with space for 15 or more guests. Entire apartment, fully furnished, with full kitchen.

Our apartment in the country is located approximately 4 miles from the main highway on a gravel road. The apartment is attached to our farmhouse but it has its own private entrance and the apartment is all your own space.

The Little House started as a cabin in the early 1900’s. A refreshed cozy getaway in a great little river town. Restaurants, bars and river access are walkable or close drive. Plenty of room to park boat etc.
