Charming private cabin on seasonal stream

This wooden cabin has a vaulted wooden ceiling and bamboo floors. Camp Creek flows past the deck to the Siuslaw River. Beautiful tranquil forest vistas are there to inspire you to write your novel. Inside amenities are brand new, including a Wi-fI dishwasher, oven, washer and dryer, microwave, wall-mounted swivel TV, and a ductless heat pump. A spacious bathroom has a glass shower, toilet, and vanity basin with large mirrors. There is a beautiful cedar deck with gas BBQ, railing, and two gates.

An oceanview outdoor shower, fully decked hot tub, fire pit, lush gardens, & stocked surf shack w/ arcade enrich the wild coast experience.

This getaway is your ideal launch point for hiking, biking, day trips to the beach (15 minute drive) or simply a spot to enjoy the day away from the pesky winds and chilling fog of the coast.

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.

Riverfront House for Every Season

Views of the Siuslaw River, coastal mountains on both sides. Two bedrooms and bath on the main floor, finished attic with three twin beds, two living areas, and basement. There are two houses on this property and another cabin next door. All are independen,t free-standing houses and can be rented together or separately. The house was built in the 50's and still has a "cabin" feel. Cozy and spacious for a family.

The Carriage House at Dragons Cove

Under a spell of centuries of wind and waves, Cape Perpetua awaits. Here you'll find The Carriage House, an enchanted cottage with views of tiny Dragons Cove, Laughing Gull Island, and the majestic Perpetua headland, highest point on the Oregon coast. It's hard to imagine a more pristine oceanfront setting. Two dozen harbor seals congregate and birth their young on the island.

The Nest

This quaint cottage provides a cozy stay with all the creature comforts. Wake up to the sound of birds while you relax with your morning coffee or tea on the covered porch or snuggle up with a good book by the fire. Come enjoy the beauty of the country! Guest check in time is 4pm and check out time is 11am. Non-smoking We do not allow large gatherings.
