If you’re looking for a 5 star resort with amenities this may not be the place for you. However, if you are looking for an eco-friendly place that is peaceful, away from the crowds, and grounding look no further. Tucked away in the mountains with an amazing ocean view, you’ll stay in this peaceful tree house. I recommend an SUV but a small car can make it up the road. Cristina was the most hospitable host and shared her knowledge and also recommendations while we stayed in her home. She was so kind and a great hostess! I would definitely go back and stay there again.

Our family stayed here before we went on our chartered boat and it was the perfect spot to relax, especially after being in Pape’ete for a day. We were able to walk to town to eat and to got to the grocery store. The view from the house was amazing, full view of the ocean, and the whole property was peaceful and comfortable. The host was very helpful with transport recs and very flexible with checkin and checkout times. I highly rec staying in this lovely lodge.

Alban picked us up by boat at our hotel and we did a 3 night cruise exploring the island of Bora Bora. The only way to really experience Bora Bora is by boat, so highly encourage this! Alban is an experienced sailor, who sailed here from France, crossing both the Atlantic and half the Pacific. He’s also worked as a cruise captain and knows how to host — just started on AirBnB: jump on this before he gets too popular with great reviews! We felt very welcome. Alban adapted our tour to our interest, knew all the beautiful places to snorkel and swim with sharks and rays. Food was excellent: local and French cuisine and deserts prepared fresh every time (restaurant level quality), sometimes prepared with the help of his daughters who were also on board during our stay. You get all the best views of Bora Bora from the boat that you’d be laying down $3-6k per night for at a resort. Plus a sense of freedom and adventure.

Très belle semaine passée au FARE PITI sur l'île de Tahaa. Marc et Antonina sont des hôtes d'une grande gentillesse et d’une grande hospitalité. Le bungalow, très fonctionnel et spacieux, est très bien situé dans un environnement calme, au bord de l’eau dans la jolie baie de Hurepiti.

On est restés 5 nuits et on a pu bien se relaxer. Le airbnb est très spacieux. Un petit supermarché est en face donc très pratique. Une voiture est nécessaire pour se déplacer sur le reste de l’île. Benjamin a répondu à toutes nos questions et a été très proactif et le lien qui nous envoie est pratique avec toutes les infos. On a juste trouvé que les lits étaient un peu durs mais on a chacun ses préférences :) On a utilisé le kayak quelque fois par contre on est une famille de 4 donc avoir un autre kayak serait top!

This place was wonderful. Well stocked and well laid out. Very relaxing and the pool made for quick cool-offs in the warm weather. Having AC in all the bedrooms made sleeping a pleasure. I would recommend this location to anyone visiting the island!

Nous avons passé tout le mois de février chez Johnny. Nous avons fait la connaissance de sa maman Nunu, une femme incroyable au grand cœur. Elle est pleine de ressource et d'énergie. Elle nous a raconté son histoire peu commune. Nunu est vraiment une belle personne, nous nous sommes attachés à elle. Nous ne nous sommes jamais lassés du cadre paradisiaque dans lequel nous étions. Il n'y a aucun voisin, seulement les propriétaires. Tous les matins, le petit déjeuner face au lagon avec le levé du soleil. Quel spectacle extraordinaire ! L'emplacement est idéal pour les nageurs. Le cabanon est très rustique à la Polynésienne, très daté... Mais nous ne venons pas chez Johnny pour rechercher le confort luxueux des grands hôtels de Bora. Du reste le prix n'est pas le même... Encore une fois, l'endroit est tout simplement exceptionnel, naturel. Je recommande sans aucune hésitation. Merci à Johnny, et surtout grosses bises à Nunu. Le rapport qualité/prix est vraiment imbattable.
