Set on a half acre property next to our historic farmhouse, centrally located at the outskirts of Motupipi, at the eastern side of Golden Bay, only 5 minutes drive from the beach and 5 minutes from Takaka township. Just a heads up that we provide hand soap for guest use, but for reasons of hygiene and personal preference please bring your own body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

Te Whare o Kea - A tiny house with a big heart!

Te Whare o Kea provides simple shelter for trampers, bikers and other nature lovers. The location also makes it perfect for a retreat. A non profit social enterprise and a Gold Kea Sponsor, guest stays have enabled over $20,000 worth of donations to the Kea Conservation Trust. It also supports monitoring of kea nest sites in the Cobb Valley and maintains a 17 trap trapline.

Te Kakau is a three bedroom house located in Takaka five minutes walk to the Village. All the amenities are close but you feel quiet and rural. We are very happy to negotiate long term stays. We have put a lot of thought into what guests need to enjoy their stay and feel that the house is well equipped and comfortable. Dogs are welcome for a small extra fee.

The White House- Ligarbay

Excellent location with superb views directly across the road from the beach at Ligar Bay. We have two baches on one section - excellent for families with kids or big groups.
