The Lodge more than met our needs as a base to explore the northern highlands. The many creature comforts helped to make us feel truly at home. The weather was so kind for the time of year allowing us to make full use of the hottub at the end of long days exploring. Our children couldn't get up early enough to "help" feed the neighbouring Highland Coos. We can't wait to come back next year to see how much they have grown.

Loved staying in this beautiful property nestled in the woods with wonderful views across the fields! Cosy, warm and felt like a home away from home! Would definitely book again!

Beautiful cottage, with absolutely everything you need. Comfy and spotlessly clean. The garden is lovely to look out on from the conservatory when eating. Hot tub in the pretty garden was lovely day or night. Eva was a great host, providing lots of info on checking in etc. The location is really perfect as well, 2 mins walk to the beach, about 30 along the beach to Chanory point, lovely fairy glen walk along burn to beautiful waterfalls. Beach cafe 2mins away and cafe/restaurant Crofters (which you can sit in our takeaway) less than 10. 2 Playparks within a few mins walk as well. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

We stayed here for a week with our grown children and their partners. Alasdair's cottage was perfect. It immediately felt cosy and comfortable. The games barn was a fun addition, and a great place to store our bikes when not in use. We got the hot tub going and once up to temperature it was easy enough to keep it ticking over for several evenings. The kitchen was well appointed, enough utensils, crockery and pans for us to cook each night. The cottage is next to open fields and farm land with quiet roads that lead to Cublin Forest. This was an amazing place to explore on foot and on bike, especially the peninsula that runs along the Findhorn Estuary and into the sea. Deserted beach and inquisitive seals. We also drove about an hour north to do some hiking at Glenmore in the Cairngorms. After our busy days adventuring it was always great to return to the cottage to relax and sleep soundly in the super size comfortable beds.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was stunning and we had an amazing time as a family. We already can’t wait to go back and wish we had booked more days! The woods right behind were a great added bonus and could be explored for hours. Thank you for such a lovely family break ☺️

We had a brilliant 4 day break at this lovely wee cottage. There was absolutely everything we needed for our stay and we loved all the extra wee decorative touches Brett has added too. We were blessed with sun every day and breakfast in the cute wee garden was a great way to start each day. Loved that we were 1 minutes walk from the beach and did a lot of exploring along this beautiful part of the coast. We even did a bit of body boarding in the sea too!! Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous renovated cottage. We loved the decor and feel of the cottage, it was so cosy and comfortable and we loved having the indoor fire. Everything was just perfect. The owners are lovely and helped with everything we needed. Cute towns nearby to explore so it made for a perfect couple of nights on our travels.

The cottage was absolutely perfect and made us wish we could have stayed longer. We were glad to find it was nice and warm after arriving on a drizzly evening. Everything was spotless and the decor is lovely. The house had everything we needed. It was a nice bonus to be able to relax in the evening and watch a movie on Now TV. We really enjoyed our stay here.

It was delightful to stay at Liz's place. 3 cottages from the beautiful Lossiemouth Beaches and Sanddunes and a wee walk to Ashers bakery, the Pharmacy and Beachside street of restaurants, pubs and ice cream/Cafe and Sweet shops. The cottage is tiny, comfy, well equipped and peaceful. I enjoyed my stay here very much! Thank you Liz!

Supertolle Lage mit Meersicht. Una ist eine sehr sympathische Gastgeberin und in der Unterkunft findet man alles, was man benötigt. Die Umgebung ist toll!

what a beautiful & restful place- we just loved staying at the cottage & had a totally glorious week- will most definitely be back!

We had such a relaxing time at the cottage, it is such a unique place to stay. We loved the decor and every day we spotted something new! It was typical Scottish weather with wind and rain but we didn't care as we were cosy by the fire then when the clouds cleared we were stargazing through the skylight at night, the shower is fantastic, water pressures is excellent What a special place, we are looking forward to booking again for another stay, The directions provided to the cottage and parking space were spot on and we didn't have any problems at all during our stay, Claire checked in with us on arrival to make sure we knew how to operate radiators etc, all in all I highly recommend a stay here.

The accommodation has everything you need. We deliberately chose the small cottage as we were looking for something quieter than the City of Inverness and have not regretted it. The house is in an idyllic location and it is also situated in such a way that excursions were possible in all directions. We really enjoyed our stay.

Findhorn is a beautiful place to stay. And in David’s house we felt right away at home. Especially the fire place was the best I have experienced so far. Easy to light up without fire starters just newspaper and the fire place develops very quickly a cozy warmth. The bathroom is well done. We loved the shower and our 8months old kid loved it as well. The kitchen had everything we needed so for one week you can enjoy nature, watch wild animals and birds, stay at the beach or enjoy walks in nearby pine forests. The next Lidl is not far as well and Forres as a city is very pleasant to walk and enjoy coffee. So we would love to come back soon

Great cottage to stay in. We loved being able to visit the spey side distilleries. Rachel had the travel cot for our toddler set up when we reached the listing. Nice neighbors and even saw a pheasant!

We had a lovely stay at Abby’s cottage. It was super comfortable and cosy and we really enjoyed having a fire in the wood burner in the evenings. It’s in a beautiful countryside setting with lots of walks nearby.

This is a lovely place to stay. It is s well equipped house with comfortable and spacious rooms, and a stunning view down the loch. Although very close to the NC 500 route it was very peaceful. Jenny was an attentive host who added some lovely personal details like fresh flowers as well as keeping in touch to see if we needed anything.

Had a great stay in such a beautiful spot. What views from the kitchen window. House and garden grounds were great for the two dogs and the grassed enclosure was perfect. Everything we needed including an outside den. Beach minutes walk away. Loved our stay.

Perfect cottage in a beautiful location. Deer literally outside on the lane, usually at 8am!...view from the twin bedroom window! beautiful to watch. Good enclosed large garden. Cottage is well loved and much care and attention to detail inside shows this. Hosts are very responsive and friendly to communicate with. They care about their guests. I would not hesitate to recommend this accomodation to anyone.

The Ivy Cottage is a wonderful little place and Reay is a great village for exploring both Caithness and Sutherland. Everything was clean and comfortable. I couldn't have been happier.
